Ordered crab cake lunch and shrimp blackened shrimp appetizer. Food was very good and service was prompt.
Grouper Sandwich was very good. The sauce gives it a unique flavor. Fries were very blah. I hear the coleslaw is the best side but they had just run out so I had the pasta salad. Not bad. Drink was decent and atmostphere in the open air dining is nice. This is the second time we have visited and we... More
We went to this restaraunt at the suggestion of the innkeeper. The food we ordered was fresh and quite flavorful. We had a fabulous and HUGE martini so if you are looking for a good cocktail, this is the place. We did not love the key lime pie, though...the only dissappointment.
Had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Was originally recommended by a friend who lives on the island - usually a good sign. Had a delicious grouper sandwich and a great chicken soup. Have had several other menu and special items in the past and have never been disappointed.
This is always one of the best places to eat on St. John. You know its good if locals eat their regularly. We went last year and returned again to another good meal. Its in Coral Bay, on the other side of the island from Cruz Bay, but worth the drive. It is a small unpretentious casual place on the... More
A nice place for a late lunch after a day of snorkeling. As with most things on St. John, it was a little expensive ($85 with tip for 2 adults/3 children), but it was a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere right across the street from the water. Food was good and we give bonus points for a kids menu.
After a long day at Salt Pond, we were starving... but it was "too late for lunch and too early for dinner." We were beyond thrilled to find that Shipreck Landing has a menu for that odd time of day! The Gazpacho and Greek salad were so refreshing and we enjoyed a side of conch fritters that didn't disappoint. Our... More
We went to this restaurant after a long day at the beach in need of some serious sustenance and we were happy with what we got. The drinks were great, especially the cocktails and the food was excellent. Knowing that portions are usually big, we ordered an apetiser each and an entree between two and that worked out great. St... More
This was my favorite meal of the week. Great flavors. Enjoyed the rib eye, jasmine rice was to die for, garlic bread - and their “adult milk shake” (bushwhacker?) was the yummiest drink I’ve had in a long time. Wish I'd had time to go back for another one of those! *It is across the street from the water. Bug... More
My first time visiting STJ we stopped here for lunch, I had the crab cake that was on special... It was AMAZING! The next year we stopped back for an equally delicious lunch. Shipwreck is on my priority list for our trip in November! Love the food & the view :)
