Our favorite meal on St John

We have been traveling to St. John for years. Our trip is not complete with out at least one visit to the Shipwreck Landing in Coral Bay. My wife and I love their Curry-nut encrusted grouper. It is the best fish dish on the island. It comes with salad and rice, ask for extra topping for the rice... read more

Loved my dinner- chicken with pineapple, a special that should make it to the regular menu. Loved the view of the bay, filled with moored sailboats. Great atmosphere.

Great drinks (get a Bushwacker ona hot afternoon!), great location, good food but a little spendy for what you get. I felt like it was worth it for the location. Can't say enough about how amazing Coral Bay is compared to Cruz Bay.

Take it easy. This place is a great spot for dinner on the Coral Bay side. We had an excellent meal of conch fritters, coconut shrimp, grouper with a tasty sauce, and a large ribeye steak grilled perfectly. Excellent service from a friendly waitress, and speedy bar drinks. Live music was very good. We came back the next night- it... More

The seafood here is excellent and if you're not really hungry for a big meal, try some of their small plate selections. The wine list is good and varied, including by the glass. The service was prompt but not rushed and it's a great place to sit and enjoy the evening while in St. Joh.=n

Shipwreck has a great view and interior. Very fun and local. I would say the food is good, not great. Salad was very good. Drinks good. Great place to hang out with friends. They have live music some nights and the bands are fun. :)

We planned our visit to this restaurant so we could hear the musician Chris Carsell (who we'd heard at another restaurant earlier in the week). He was very good as we expected but we also had a very good dinner. When we arrived there seemed to be a lot of reservations but we were still able to get a table... More

A great spot on our way to the Salt Pond on Coral Bay. Was told they had the best bushwackers, they were good. Food was awesome, had fresh fish and chips so yummy !! Very slow but server had just gotten a rush. Highly recommend. And highly recommend the drive to the Salt Pond great snorkeling and beach.
