Good location & food -- on the pricy side

Stopped in here on our first day on the island. Easy to find and was quick to get in. It is the off season now and a lot of places are very quiet. We were only the second table when we arrived and had our choice of seating. Service was obviously quick, and drinks came fast. Happened to arrive... read more

This unpretentious restaurant is right on the road in Coral Bay, directly across the street from the bay. We stopped for lunch and were amazed. The peanut encrusted grouper in a mild curry sauce was the best of a number of dishes, all excellent. The passion fruit coladas were another highlight. The onion rings stand out as well. The hot... Shipwreck is located on the main road just south of Coral Bay. It is right across the street from the water, and completely open, providing a great view and breeze. The service was friendly and fast. All of the food was simply sublime, from the conch fritters, to the fish & chips, to the grouper sandwich! Definitely recommend if you... More

This was definitely a favorite - unfortunately ran out of time to get back for a second time during our trip.

Visiting with good friends is always nice at Shipwreck Landing. VERY laid back style and a great selection of nicely prepared dishes are complimented by my favorite frozen concoction, Lime in the Coconut, a most refreshing beverage made with the freshest lime and creamy coconut. Make sure you try one!

Shipwreck Landing - consistent, friendly and excellent daily specials. We return to Shipwreck every time we are on St. John. It is worth the effort to drive to the quite side of the island given the food, friendly people, and unspoiled views. A great destination restaurant, unhurried, with views, and covered outdoor dining.

My wife and I had a late lunch here and it was great. The service at the bar was great. The food was great and the drinks were awesome! There was a band playing while we were there and they really got the patrons into it. If you are down in the Coral Bay area, drop by! Highly worth it!

We ate here twice while on st john. The conch fritters were some of the best we had and the deviled crabs were also fantastic! We ended our dinner with homemade coconut key lime cheesecake that the server said she made earlier that day. Definitely worth stopping by.

I have been to St. John 5 times and Shipwreck Landings is the only restaurant that I have visited each trip. My favorite aspect of the restaurant is the atmosphere. It is on the Coral Bay side of the island just south of "town" so it basically sits on the road across from the water by itself. It is open... More

Good food that is on the higher end side. More for couples. Great views and ambiance. Worth a visit.
