This was our second expensive meal on St. John. I had the grilled grouper with pasta. It came with a sweet and sour sauce. I thought it was good, but not the best fish I've ever had. My friend had steak and it was too dry. It was very disappointing since it cost so much. I wouldn't try the Lime... more

We went on Wednesday night, their famous all you can eat shrimp night, and were not disappointed. Service was very friendly and attentive and the shrimp had the perfect combination of spice and flavor, even if they were a little soft and hard to peel. I know where I'll be on Wednesday night next time were on the island! more

The caretaker of our villa recommended this spot and we were not disappointed. My husband had the seafood pasta which was loaded with seafood (a rarity at most restaurants. I had the tuna and had the gazpacho as well. Tuna was really good, gazpacho was average. Service was very good - staff was friendly. We would return. Thought the value... more

Went to The Lime Inn for dinner last week (4/21/09) and it was a little disappointing based on the reviews I read on TI. Supposedly the #2 dining experience in St. John, and we (4 of us) were all underwhelmed. It was pretty good, but not at all "top notch". more

I was in a party of 13 that dropped in for dinner. We were seated only after a short wait which was no problem because of the awesome drinks at the tiki bar. Although the restaurant was packed, we were treated like we were the only guests. Owner was unbelieveably friendly as well as the hostess and waitresses. Food was... more

We enjoyed dinner at the Lime Inn on 2/24, very much. The place was packed and with a reservation we waited maybe ten minutes. Three years ago we were walking past this place and popped in to look. A nice young guy at the bar started talking to us and bought us a round of drinks, my first Pain Killer... more

We have been coming to St John since 1995. The Lime Inn is always on our list of restaurants and it has never disappointed us. This trip, we actually ate there two times in our week long stay. It is always crowded, and that is for a reason. Everything is good. Seafood is fresh and excellent. I even ate a... more

Went to the LIME inn with my son for a fabulous lobster dinner last July. The owner and host was wonderful to us explaining the different huge sizes of lobster and how we could actually split a 5 pounder! (we can really eat alot of LOBSTER!!) The dinner was fabulous and the waitress was pleasant and cheerful even though we... more

During our return trip to St. John in July, 2008 we went back to Lime Inn for their spectacular all you can eat shrimp night on Wednesdays. Just as good as we remembered it from last July! Delicious shrimp, all you can eat, great service and friendly staff working there! And the price is right. I highly recommend everyone to... more
