There is something about Island Blues that keeps us coming back. The view is amazing...right ON the water of Coral Bay. The atmosphere is so laid back, you can't help but relax and enjoy your meal. I ate the "Got the Blues" melt...grilled Mahi with sauteed mushrooms and onions with cheese...and awesome sandwich! more

Hubby and I ended up here after walking the Johnny Horn Trail from Waterlemon Bay. We tried all of the bars on the Coral Bay side of the island and some in Cruz Bay too and this is by far our favorite. The people (mostly locals at happy hour time) are so friendly and fun. wooooweeeee. Very good rum drinks. Rum punches, painkillers, bushwackers, etc. Lots of old people making out. Well maybe they're not that old but they've been hanging out in the sun in the islands for so long their skin has weathered like fine old leather. REALLY bad covers of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. Really bad. Great place! more

We have been to St. John once or twice a year since 9/11 (we were one of the first flights in and the whole island was deserted). But Island Blues (used to be Just Pepe's) is one of my favorite places and definitely the first stop after we drop our bags. It doesn't have the best food, just really good... more
