Very disappointed to find the Donkey Diner closed. They had great pizza when we stopped in last year.

Disappointed to learn, first hand as we drove the entire island for Sunday brunch, that the owners have left us beggars in the lurch - rumors fly, but it is closed.

Great breakfast & service. Nice stop on way to Salt Pond Bay. The English Muffin sandwich was gigantic and good for a day on the road.

It takes special kind of attention to bring a successful brand to disaster. Unfortunately, the beloved Donkey Diner succumbed to such a fate. Past history has shown that this Coral Bay icon has transcended recurring transfers in ownership, with sustained, and sometimes heightened, success. I've been a DD patron since first visiting Love City in '03, again in '05, many... More

Ive listed it as terrible because it has once again closed and is for sale. The new owners didn't even make it a year - they started out on a rocky path when they threw out funky memorabilia folks had donated over the years. Shooting roosters and chickens put some people off. My concerns were the long wait just to... More

Really great food but having staffing issues right now and closed almost all the time. Don't drive all the way out to coral bay until they get that worked out. Husband got jalapeño and ricotta omelet which he has barely stopped talking about. I got the ricotta blueberry pancakes. Moist and yummy.

We stopped for breakfast sandwiches on the way to Hansen Bay. Really good with local hot sauce sprinkled on. If you're on a budget, get your breakfast sandwich on toast instead of a bagel- saves a couple bucks. Have a juice instead of a Mimosa or Bloody Mary- saves a couple dollars. Or live it up! It's only money, right?

The food was very good as in pervious years. We eat outside and were treated exceptionally well by the new staff. We didn't think the staff was as friendly in past years. Noticed some minor changes on the menu but other than that, this is still the same Donkey Diner that we remember. Would like to see wifi here as... More

Came here in July 2012 and the food was great!! Back again May 1st, and had to go back. The breakfast is excellent. A lot of food on the plate. The service was friendly. Love this place for the atsmosphere. Food is tasty, albeit a little pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for the island. Will be back!

We stayed in Coral Bay April 10-21 and our villa was just above Donkey Diner. At the beginning of our trip we usually just ate breakfast in our villa then headed out for the day. Later in our trip we decided we should try the Donkey Diner (even though I had been reading very mixed reviews for the past year!).... More
