We stopped at this place on the recommenation of our Captain. He is from NY and said the pizza here was as good as any he had in NY. Turns out he was right! The crust was not too thin, not too thick. The tomato sauce had just the right amount of spice. It really did compare very well to... More

On my last trip to St John, Cafe Roma came highly recommended by the locals and it was most definitely a great restaurant. It was our favorite. I'm returning in a month and I'm anxious to see if the negative reviews are founded or not. I sure hope it's just as wonderful now as it was then. More

Food was great, locally grown organic salad, Chicken Florentine was excellent and the 3 layer chocolate cake was a big hit with our daughters, perfect with kids. Nothing to complain about and I can usually find something! Anna-Marie was very helpful with the menu & local beaches! More

This intimate Italian restaurant was excellent from top to bottom. The service was great; friendly staff. we even got to meet the owner/chef. We had the seafood manicotti and penne a la vodka... every bite was delicious, and the serving sizes were quite abundant. Would definitely make it a must every time i return!!! More

Tonight we dined at Cafe Roma. We set out looking for a good pizza place, and we found it! The pizza here was so tasty. Food came hot and fresh. Our waitress, Abby, was exceptional! She was very prompt and helpful the entire evening. We asked her for a few recommendations while on the island, she was full of information,... More

No visit to St John is complete without eating at Cafe Roma. Anna, our server, provided some excellent recommendations. The Caprese salad was awesome and a great starter. The kitchen was insanely busy during this peak week, but our meals were well prepared and delicious. I had hoped to return for lunch despite all the other great choices on St... More

This was easily the worst food we had in St. John and probably the worst Italian food we've ever had. We ordered lamb chops with fettucine alfredo and their special veal with gorgonzola sauce and fettucine. The lamb chops tasted fine - it was tender and had decent flavor although we got just 2 tiny pieces. Everything else was horrible.... More

What a suprise to find such amazing food in a cozy environment! We were given a local 'insider tip' to try Cafe Roma and it was the best food we at during our stay on St. John. Everything was phenomenal - from the appetizer to the warm bread to the main dish. We opted for seafood pasta dishes but the... More

Being a new part-time resident on St. John we decided to try a new restaurant on the island since we go to the same ones frequently. This one was suggested to us by a local. Overall I would say the food was just o.k. They gave you a big portion, but my meal lacked flavor and so did my partners... More

I went here with my girlfriend. It was 25$ for a pizza and just as good or better than the stuff back home in NYC. The staff was great and welcomed us like family. They let me and my girlfriend come in still after closing and made us food while we chatted with them and their friends at the bar.... More
