Not only was this the best restaurant we ate at during our 10 days on all the British Virgin Islands and Saint John...but one of the best we've ever eaten at! And we're from Boston so we've been to some good restaurants in our day. Of course being able to gaze out at the ocean gives it a leg up... more

Ate here on our last night in St. John based off a recommendation, and are glad we did! We didn't go at sunset, which we didn't really care about. Service was attentive and the food was wonderful! It is expensive though-probably our most expensive of the trip. The zuppa di pesce was amazing-but the best part was the blueberry semifreddo... more

perfect place for a romantic meal. you can walk 4 blocks through st. john from the ferry port to get to the restaurant. restaurant is above hotel lobby. delicious northern italian cuisine set on a beautiful terrace facing the water. excellent sunset views. service is impeccable. we both had seafood and it is topnotch. well worth the cost, however zozo... more

This was one of the best dinner's we had while in St. John. Friendly staff, great food. A bit expensive though compared to some of the other restaurants. Great view, and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely go if you are looking for fine dining. more

Don't go there thinking your going to get a great view of the sun setting over St Thomas - you will get a great view of the metal roofs of the resort in front. Frankly, don't go - but if you ever wind up there whatever you do - DON'T say YES or SURE when they ask you if they... more

We've been to Zozo's twice now & would probably go back. Our food was much better on our first visit. This time, the food was average (pretty bland), but acceptable. The salad was good (small) and the steak was on the bland side. The prices are pretty high - this time probably not worth it. It's a toss up as... more

Yes, the place is expensive, but with good reason. Overall probably the best food we had on the island and by far the best and most attentive service. Lobster ravioli starter, while small, was very good. She had the Osso Buco and I had the special of Seafood Fra Diavolo and both were spot on. Wine by the glass options... more

I've dined at ZoZo's several times while visiting St. John. It's hit or miss. The appetizers are always great and the view from the bar upstairs is amazing. I highly recommend sitting up there for happy hour so you can watch the sun set over St. Thomas. However, the main course is hit or miss. Sometimes it's been good, not... more

Our two-couple party had dinner a recent Saturday night. We all had appetizers and an entree - the calamari in particular was very good. Our entrees were strong - the rack of lamb special was huge, and everyone else had fish (tasty). The only drawback I would say is that their conventional pasta-based selections are lacking. However, conventional meat-based entrees... more

Our guidebook gave ZoZo's their #1 rating. We didn't see it that way. We ordered Lobster. It turned out to be tasteless and tough. Another person in our party ordered the Mahi Mahi which was the same. The scallop appetizer was ok. Wish I knew what all the raving was about. We felt like we got ripped off after spending... more
