Great view!

This little shack is right on the water. Very charming with good food. The pets wandering around the property are fun. Service was slow but you won't mind as you have a rum punch and look out at the water!

Four of us visited Miss Lucy's for lunch. I got the grouper Ruben, which was so delicious. Two in our party got the roti and said it was yummy as well. We went back another evening , but they only serve the grouper Ruben at lunch. This is a beautiful location! We didn't have a long wait at all as... More

Location is right on the water! We enjoyed the Sunday Jazz brunch! Do not pass up on either the Mimosa or Bloody Mary, you will not be disappointed! The sweet potato hash was heavenly, beware the portions are large! Having the occasional chicken or goat wander by just added to the charm!

Don't go early for the Sunday Brunch, let the crowds go first. Get there around 11 or so and enjoy the Jazz music and sitting outside along the water. Tasty food and pleasant staff. We go every year.

I've read a lot of reviews here and would have to agree with most - your food will not come out quickly. If you try to nurse your drink until the food comes, it will be reduced to water. So, have a couple and relax. Enjoy visits from the cats, goats, and chickens and take in the view and the... More

Janet, thanks for writing to us. We're glad you have yet to catch us on a busy day -- it's always an honor to seat you in a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a hearty meal. That said, I'm sorry for being out of something each time you've visited us -- I want nothing but the best of ingredients... More

This was our fourth trip to St John and we've agreed that no visit is complete without a drive out to Miss Lucy's. It's over by Coral Bay and away from the excitement of Cruz Bay, but my goodness, it is worth the drive out if you're closer to the Cruz Bay side of the island. Fried plantains like the... More

Vonetta, it's the ultimate compliment to know you and your family feel a trip over here is incomplete without having visited us. It's a true honor to have our plantains compared to the ones your mother used to make -- I trust that they were excellent! Thank you so much for all of your appreciation, and I very much look... There is nothing like sitting outside eating dinner along the water listening to live steel drum music as the sun sets. A nice breeze kept pests at bay. Additional entertainment were the young goats wandering, jumping and running around. The food was good, but we certainly were on island time waiting for it. Don't go if you are in a... More

After reading a few of the reviews all I can say is if you're coming to ST. JOHN and expecting the same service where you came from...SHAME ON YOU! Dear GOD People! If you visit St. John, you must stop by Miss Lucy's!! The food is phenomenal and were delighted it hasn't changed since the last time we visited in 2009. Sarah, thank you for recommending us to everyone! We definitely take pride in "sticking to our roots," and keeping recipes as traditional as possible, so it's a wonderful compliment to have you appreciate that.
