Beautiful setting

Great place to have brunch. Food was good but expensive for breakfast food. The restaurant is beautifully situated directly on the water. Service was a little slow.

We always make this a stop. You may have a friendly goat visit or chickens. The setting is beautiful and staff is great. Only had brunch on Sunday or lunch but love there food!

Julie, I'm so glad you enjoyed your brunch so much -- we only serve made-to-order food using the highest quality ingredients possible, so I hope you understand why prices stand as they do, and why it may take a bit longer to get your dishes out. That said, there's nothing like knowing you appreciate our ambiance so much, and I... More

We have been coming to St John for 5 years and always make a stop at Miss Lucy's for the awesome conch fritters and fried plantains, this was our first trip during high season and they ran out of all the conch food items, burgers and the service was not with a smile. The one waitress barely had time to... More

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Miss Lucy's right along the waterfront. Prior to being seated, the waitress informed us that if we were in a hurry, this restaurant was not for us. We found this to be very true. While our waitress was extremely friendly, the service was VERY slow. It took us about 2 hours for dinner/dessert. The... More

Katie, I sure am glad that your meals were worth the wait! We do get busy, and our food is always made-to-order, so I'm grateful for your patience. Please don't let the wait stop you from returning for your favorite dishes -- all of us would love to serve you again. Warm regards, Miss Lucy More

Lovely location and very family friendly. Definitely order the Johnny Cakes. Yum. Menu was full of good local food, but also had options that the kids enjoyed.

We had lunch under the trees, a delicious seafood wrap and a wonderful grouper rueben (yes, rueben). Service was fine; setting can't be beat though a bit breezy. A very pleasant lunch on Coral Bay. Would recommend that you try it, especially after a morning snorkel at nearby Salt Pond Bay,

We stopped in on Sunday. They have live Jazz, two guys playing several instruments. They were great. The view is awesome. We sat down at the bar and it took maybe 15 minutes for the bartender to help us. And then another 15 to get the check. However the service staff working the tables seemed to be very efficient and... So glad you stopped by during our Sunday Brunch -- I sure wish you had gotten something to eat, however! I'm so sorry to read of your wait at the bar. It should never take that long to get our bartender's attention, so I sincerely apologize for that. I definitely hope you may consider coming back for a nice meal... More

I enjoyed the setting at Lucy's and the laid back atmosphere (we had numerous animals wandering around while there, at one point a baby goat was even under our table) the food was good but definitely took a while to come out (on island time I guess) but overall we had a good experience.

Those baby goats are known for stopping by to say hello -- glad you got a visit to go with your meals! Sorry if it seemed that the food took a little too long -- that's good to know -- but it's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting us be a part of your trip! Safe... More

Some things were awesome... some were not. Drinks were generous and very good. Meals ranged from very good to OK. One of our meals was supposed to come with mashed potatoes, which they were out of, the french fries substitute was down right disappointing. The avocado snapper and coconut grouper were both really good. the paella was lacking in quantity... More

Enjoyable food - I recommend the Johnny Cakes and Conch Fritters if you've never had them before. The Mango Salad was underwhelming. But it's really the setting that makes it. Good mixture of sun and shade overlooking the bay. But don't be surprised if you're joined at the table by wandering cats or goats!
