I can't go for a walk in the Brecon Beacons without stopping here. Excellent food with service to match. On one occasion when I came by they were sadly all out of their home made scones (no surprise as they really are the best I've ever had!), but Julie was kind enough to make a fresh batch from scratch for... Had to check this out after reading the reviews and it certainly lived up to its reputation. Just 40mins from Cardiff and we were in the middle of some fantastic scenery in the foothills of Pen y Fan. Julie and Linda were fantastic hosts and the Sunday lunch tasted like home cooking at its best. Finished off with some real... More

Whilst on a visit to the Brecon Beacons, we were looking for a little bolt hole, for a light lunch, we found the perfect one with this tea room, set in wonderful countryside. The sets of tea cups, plates are all bone china, we order two different home made soups, they were first class, in quantity and quality, plus the... More

We stopped here during a a day out exploring the Brecon Beacons. We had our two dogs with us (one of which is very nervous with other dogs) and the staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs. Very friendly, very helpful and an extremely enjoyable cream tea with lashings of cream and jam. We will be back... More

Situated in the Brecon hills, but very well sign posted in every direction! Although it was a very windy Sunday in April, when we went there around lunch time there was no room to sit inside and had to brave the elements. Lovely friendly staff. Huge cakes, good service. Prices equivalent to a National Trust cafe. The toilet is a... More
