After coming off the hills early due to low cloud and building rainfall (with such soggy feet), we found The Old Barn Tea Room from it's little signs leading from Pont Blaen-y-glyn car park. We weren't sure what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised...a complete hidden gem of a place in a beautifully converted barn with lovely gardens (and... More

We regularly visit the Old Barn Tea Room in the holidays. The welcome we always receive and service is fantastic! Nothing is a problem to the girls who look after us! The tea is amazing and the cakes are fantastic and makes you want more! Also, do try a scone!!! I love it here. Beautiful scenery and amazing afternoon tea!... More

We had a great time at the Tea Rooms, the staff were excellent and were so helpful. The food was also great. The service is what makes this cafe really stand out.

Visited The Old Barn Tea Room as we were passing, just visited a local event and having a wind down trip into the countryside, and thought a nice cuppa and a cake would go down a treat. Owners had been attending a local show, and had left the place in the charge of the other staff, and to say the... More

My grandmother was visiting the area and I've always wanted to visit the Old Barn. I suggested that we all went there for Cream Tea. We were immediately made to feel welcome and decided to order the Old Barn Special: half a sandwich, a scone with clotted cream and jam, a Welsh cake and a pot of tea (made with... More
