After seeing the tv advertisement over and over (the one on channel 5 for the island tour), we decided to head over yacht haven to check out this restaurant. First, the seating chairs and tables (metal ones) were not user friendly. I should have brought my own seat cushion. Our waiter was "okay" but only came to check on us... More

Fat Turtle is a restaurant the specializes in burgers, pizza, and sandwiches. It's located on Yacht Haven, a place where yachts and other boats come to dock. Also, there are name-brand stores surrounding the restaurant such as Luis Vuitton, Coach, and Gucci (to name a few). My burger was great, and I found few things wrong with the service and... More

Nice laid back place to get a bite or drinks when St. Thomas. The views of a marina full of multi-million dollar yachts is amazing while having some good food with friends. Easy location to get to from any resort or cruise ship.

This is an open air restaurant on the Yacht Haven waterfront. Nothing fancy, standard island fare. Since its open, its better for dinner when its cooler outside. Staff is friendly.

The view of the marina is spectacular. The staff is warm and friendly. The prices are fair, but the food is strictly so so. I had the fish and chips, swimming on an oily plate. The tarter sauce they served tasted "off" to me so I skipped it. The fish was very under-seasoned. My companion had a pizza which he... More

We went on a week night; and, had no wait and were able to get a table next to the yacht club. Our waitress was friendly, very good happy hour prices/selections; and, everyone found something the liked to eat. Overall, a successfully family dinner outing and less than $100 for family of 5.

While Fat Turtle is located right on the water in St Thomas, it's food doesn't live up to it's beautiful view. All seating is outside with very little comfort from the heat. The food is just regular bar food. The fish and chips were not very good and the salad upset my stomach. They were out of ice and unable... More

The best part of this place is the view of the upscale yacht harbor. If you don't care about sub-par food and want to see lots of beautiful huge yachts, then the Fat Turtle is a great place to visit. We looked at the menu and quickly decided to order appetizers only. The burger was $14 and entrees started at... More
