Highlight of our trip!

My wife and I ate here on valentines day during our trip to St. Thomas. As others have said, the rib eye was phenomenal! The owners make you feel like you're at home, and the view was fantastic. Highly recommend this place - we'll definitely be back on our next trip!

Great meal and laid back atmosphere. It's a little bit hard to find and get to but once you're there it's so worth it.

Located overlooking Crown Bay and with limited parking, but with the best rib eyes we have ever had. Dinner is served Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and reservations are a must. There is a honor bar, a salad bar, but most come for the steaks. Grilled to your specifications and served with potato and vegetables, it is a dining experience to... More

Alert, please take cab..no parking to speak of and a treacherous hill to climb to get into the grounds. Our resos were for Thursday 2/12. Greeted by the owners made us feel at home right away. The view looking down on the waters of St Thomas were mind blowing (your way up high) Given the choice of tables. The drinks... More

We've lived on St. Thomas for three years now and only recently found out about this hidden gem. Clearly the word is getting out. A small, open air restaurant with cool breezes high up the mountain overlooking Charlotte Amalie. Steak, lobster, all done very well. The steaks are grilled (nicely charred) right outside the entrance. Prices are actually a little... More

We were so excited to be able to go to Island View after hearing such great reviews of this island treasure. We were not disappointed in the least, in fact, our expectations were exceeded. The view is amazing, so choose a 6:00 seating. The menu offers a variety without being overwhelming. Two of us had a blackened ribeye steak and... More

This could easily become one of my favorite restaurants in St. Thomas! The menu is very limited but everything is delicious! Four of us .... 2 had the rib eyes and 2 had the Citrus Mahi. Everybody cleaned their plates! The owner cooks the steaks on an outside grill, and believe me, they are grilled to perfection! Everything is reasonably... More

Unexpectedly ended up in St Thomas for the night. They squeezed us in for dinner and drinks. As everyone else has said the steaks are great, the self service honor bar is a unique touch and works due to the fact that it is a small restaurant. The whole family was there working hard and like the best little places... More

A must stop if in St Thomas for any length of time. Quaint small hotel and rooms with a small restaurant and honor bar. The owners cook steaks on a grill and many say they have the best steaks on the island. It was very good and the grilled asparagus was outstanding. Great views of Charlotte Amalie harbor, too. I...
