My fiance and I stayed in a sailboat docked in the marina in Vessup Bay. Latitude 18 was located right at the end of the dock and we could not have been happier with our location. The live music on Friday and Saturday night was excellent and the food and drink was equally good. I would recommend a bushwacker and... More

The road to Latitude 18 is rough, rocky and full of bumps. This is a good precursor to the meal, which also exhibited in our visit. The restaurant overlooks red hook, with a great view as you sit and listen to live music. The music was the highlight of the visit. For appetizers we ordered the Shark Bites and the... More

I discovered this place last year when Dick Solberg aka "The Fiddler" (from Chetek, WI) was performing with his band. What a blast! I was here on a girls' 50th birthday getaway and we had a ball! I brought my family back again this week and enjoyed it all over again!! We arrived at 8 pm and with no tables... More

This is your no-frills, low-maintenance beach bar. It is all open-air & a great place to have a cold drink (we didn't eat, just stopped specifically for a beer). The road is bumpy so go slow then enjoy yourself once you're here.

We ate here twice during on trip in December. Music both nights was awesome! Pipe Dreams (with some local audience participation) and Smoked Okra were both great bands. My husband RAVED about the pasta special both nights - definitely a fun spot for dinner.

The road sucks. The parking lot is unpaved. The furniture is low rent. The dock is falling in. Insect repellant is recommended The setting is, well...you have a good view of the American Yacht Harbor across the way. But the (live) music is hot, the food is good, the prices are fair, the folks are friendly, and those fritters --... More

The food was average island fare, and the service was slow, but the live music was what people were there for. Lovely marina bar.

Loved the atmosphere, it's right on the water, food is different and delicious, great service! It is off the beaten path for sure but u CAN take a taxi to get there and when the driver takes u down a scary dirt road, don't worry! Fun live music too, can't ask for more!
