Fun local bar with good entertainment

We went to Latitude 18 twice during our visit to St. Thomas. The first time we went just for a drink and the entertainment and that was very enjoyable, although the entertainment ended at 10pm (shortly after we arrived) out of consideration of the neighbors. We make a point of going here every year to hear tje Fiddler and the Sun Mountain Band. Food is average but the island atmosphere and music cannot be beat!

We "accidentally" happened upon this place after taking a wrong turn down a dirt road on the way to another restaurant. We came back to it our last night on vacation, and we were sure glad we did! The music, food and atmosphere were perfect. We tried the shark bite appetizers and Roti curry wrap and were both good. Recommend... More

Loved this place so much we went back a second time last week. The band on Thursday and Friday nights was fantastic! Party atmosphere ad you may even meet a Pirate or two. Ask for Lauren to be your waitress she is always right there to refresh your drink and no matter how busy she was she always stopped by... More

I have traveled all over the world and this place has the best shark bites I have ever had!! Their fish dishes are excellent. I happen to be at a resort up the road and The Fiddler and the Sun Mountain Band happen to be playing. Folk, jazz, blues, country and what ever else they could play. I love good... More

A resident of st Thomas told us we had to visit latitude 18 for the famous 'shark bake' sandwich. We were not disappointed. One of those meals that gets better with every single bite. The owner jimmy is an excellent host who will also recommend other great local places to visit during your stay. Seating area offers great views of... More

This was my second time going to this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. The food was good and music great. We went on a Thursday night and had been advised to get there before six in order to get a table. It was good advice. If and when we return to St Thomas, Latitude 18 will be on our... More

Getting to it is half the fun....cab drivers hate the terrible road that leads down to the parking lot. Go when "the fiddler" is playing for a more local vibe. The place will be packed to see him. The owner is awesome and it lies directly across from the Red Hook Ferry Terminal.
