Best Jerk Chicken Ever!

My wife and I had heard from some local merchants that Trenchtown had the best Jerk Chicken, and to prove it they walked us to the restaurant. And boy were they right. The food was delicious. This is a family restaurant which allows its guests to explore typical Jamaican food and drink. One of us is actually Jamaican so we are pretty knowledgeable and critical of Jamaican cuisine. We can say our meal today was authentic. Curried goat, ripe plantains, rice and peas, cabbage, and sweet potatoes fed us well. Red Stripe was available. There was... More

We ate here with the kids and everyone loved everything they ate!! Our server was great too! We made sure we added more tip to make it 20% since the automatic gratuity they add is only 15% and he deserved more. You have to try the Ackee Salt Fish!! We spent about $100 for the four of us to have... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Our server Lynette made us feel like guests in her home rather than just tourists passing through. I had the fried snapper with sweet potato and fongo (spelling?), which is cornmeal and veggie patties, and I ate every last bit. The serving was generous and felt like true Caribbean comfort food.... The food is the best I have tasted in the Caribbean. It was like having dinner in Jamaica. The food was authentic. The jerk wings are to die for. The meat just falls off the bone And the spices are right on, just right. The red stripe beer was so cold it hit the spot as well. All while listening... More

Stopped here for lunch on our private door by our tour guide. Small local establishment with great local cuisine, friendly staff. I had jerk chicken wings and my wife had a vegetable plate and both were excellent . Always nice to visit local sites. Highly recommend .
