Steven the owner is so nice and friendly. I love it. Walked in drenched with rain right before their closing time (4:30 pm) and still managed to get some yummy take out. We dined at Cuzzins next door for lunch AND we had take out in our hands already but I couldn't resists me some jamaican food. Walked in and... More

This authentic place, just a few blocks back of the heavy tourist area of St. Thomas but well worth the search, is terrific. It has all the expected local delicacies (goat, chicken, salt fish, oxtail...) with the usual choice of side dishes. But what's unique about it is that as you sit there over lunch (not usually in a crowded... More

We had a chicken patty, and split a sampler with jerk chicken, jerk pork, saltfish and ackee, potato stuffing, peas and rice and sweet potatoes. I also had a Dutty Wata to drink- it may be my new favorite cocktail! The patty was great. The jerk had no heat, which was disappointing, but the meat was good and well seasoned,... More

Highly recommend the jerk chicken wings. I had the platter and added rice and peas, mac 'n cheese and plantains. Friendly staff and delicious food!

Just finishing our lunch and I wanted to write how much we enjoyed Trenchtown. I don't understand the handful of negative review that said the food was flavorless. They must have eaten at a different restaurant than us. We had conch fritters for an appetizer and they were very good! My wife had the whole fish fried (snapper) and I... More

This was a delicious break from our hotel stay. We had the best rum punches...very comparable to those that I had in Jamaica. I had the curried goat, rice and peas, mac & cheese, and cabbage. Soooooo delicious!!! A must visit when visiting St. Thomas.

Loved the curry goat, wife loved the jerk chicken, dad loved the local fish, mom loved the non-spicey brown sauce chicken. Lynette was amazing. went for lunch on a day 4 boats were in port. Not busy at all. We drove ... But seemed a short distance from the boats and well worth the effort.

If you are visiting the Islands and want some REALLY GOOD JAMAICAN food make sure to visit Trenchtown Rock. After relying upon the hotel staff and shop owners to give recommendations for places to eat, we finally got tired of the tourist trap places that were over-rated and asked a "Real Local" person for a recommendation and made it to... We were looking for a local authentic restaurant. One of the local helped us find. The Jerk and Curry were enjoyed by all in our party. I have many food allergies and they cooked me some special fish, and okra, (the best I have ever had) The staff was very friendly with great service.
