Just slightly off the beaten path. Great menu. Food cooked perfectly. Nicely seasoned. Large portions. They know what they are doing. Will be back!

This restaurant is always our first stop when we come to St. Thomas. Coming into the port we are always anxious for authentic Caribbean food. This restaurant is in the back streets, not on the main tourist route, but well worth the visit. When we have been there it is usually just a few patrons in the place, but do... More

We had to search a bit for an actual Carribean restaurant by the ocean front shopping, but we were so glad we found Trenchtown! It was great!

So my wife and I visited St Thomas today for like the 10th plus time and I can't believe we just found this place. Can't recommend it enough. We ate about everything on the menu and have ZERO complaints. Thank you Damion your the best. If you want authentic Jamaican food then this place is for you. Can't want to... More

Steven the owner is so nice and friendly. I love it. Walked in drenched with rain right before their closing time (4:30 pm) and still managed to get some yummy take out. We dined at Cuzzins next door for lunch AND we had take out in our hands already but I couldn't resists me some jamaican food. Walked in and... More

This authentic place, just a few blocks back of the heavy tourist area of St. Thomas but well worth the search, is terrific. It has all the expected local delicacies (goat, chicken, salt fish, oxtail...) with the usual choice of side dishes. But what's unique about it is that as you sit there over lunch (not usually in a crowded... More

We had a chicken patty, and split a sampler with jerk chicken, jerk pork, saltfish and ackee, potato stuffing, peas and rice and sweet potatoes. I also had a Dutty Wata to drink- it may be my new favorite cocktail! The patty was great. The jerk had no heat, which was disappointing, but the meat was good and well seasoned,... More

Highly recommend the jerk chicken wings. I had the platter and added rice and peas, mac 'n cheese and plantains. Friendly staff and delicious food!

Just finishing our lunch and I wanted to write how much we enjoyed Trenchtown. I don't understand the handful of negative review that said the food was flavorless. They must have eaten at a different restaurant than us. We had conch fritters for an appetizer and they were very good! My wife had the whole fish fried (snapper) and I... More
