This review is for Senor Frogs in Red Hook, St. Thomas, USVI. It is located in what used to be the Big Bamboo Bar and Grill and that is what is on the receipt for the evening. My wife and I stayed at Secret Harbor Resort in Benner which is about 10-15 minutes from Red Hook. My wife and I... More

After bar hopping around the island, we decided this place had the best bushwhackers. Dinner was very good also. We really enjoyed the staff, which were extremely helpful. This is the type of outdoor restaurant that you expect from a Caribbean Island.

We've eaten here several times over the years and haven't had a bad meal yet. Their fish is some of the best on the island and the dipping sauce is Awesome! The burgers are great too. Their prices are fairly standard for St Thomas. Most of the servers we've had were very attentive and friendly, but some were on "island... More

This was my first time to St. Thomas. We visited quite a few bars and restaurants during our week but this was my favorite. The service was consistent here, and the wait staff were so nice. We liked sitting on the street side where we could enjoy people watching yet hear the live music performance in the back. And I... More

We ate at Big Bamboo the first night on the island, and basically had the whole place to ourselves. We were in St Thomas in the low season, but we were surprised that we were the only customers in the restaurant part of the place. (there were several bar patrons) We had a party of four, and all of us... More

I had the Mahi sandwich, hubby had the fish and chips. BIG portions! He was especially happy. Nice family atmosphere right on the bay. I would certainly recommend.

We just had a couple of beers at Big Bamboo while we were waiting for the ferry from Red Hook, St Thomas back to St John but we were impressed! The bartender (female) was super friendly and made us feel welcome. While we were there, another employee was busy mopping down the bar floor......hardworking and he really worked keeping the... Our first meal in St Thomas.... And it was perfect! Fast, friendly service. Food was great. We even got a front row seat to a local guy singing and dancing to Bob Marley, No Woman No Cry. We will definitely be back!

Great burgers and sweet potato fries. Happy hour specials awesome too. My husband ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, I had the salmon burger, kids had chicken tenders and a cheeseburger. Good food, prompt friendly service, and not bad prices. Our bill was $57 including drinks. Not bad for 4 people
