My wife and I fly from California to the Caribbean every year in November for her birthday. Last year we stayed at the Westin on St. John, This time we decided on St. Thomas at the Marriot. I took my wife to Havana Blue for dinner on her birthday , the last day of our vacation. Let me just say,... more

I visit the BVI at least twice a year and everytime I do two things: 1)I get a room on St. Thomas so I don't miss my morning flight. 2) I make reservations at Havana Blue. It always seem to be the perfect finish to a relaxing week before heading back to Manhattan. I've eaten at most every restaurant in... more

After several visits to St. Thomas, HAVANA BLUE remains far and away our favorite restaurant on the island. Casual and airy, yet a spohistication in both the food and service not encountered anywhere else. A wonderful spot for couples, friends or larger groups, with highly attentive service and creative cuisine with Caribbean and Latin touches. more

The best restaurant we dined at on the island! Definitely a memorable dining experience and meal. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by very friendly hosting staff. The waiter was very knowledgeable and efficient. The food was excellent I highly recommend the lettuce wrap appetizer and the miso sea bass and the bannana egg roll dessert... more

I was one of the lucky ones who was able to make Havana Blue's 5th birthday bash...and I'm sure glad I did! The food was excellent (as usual) and the mojitos we drank washed it all down just perfectly! I'd highly reccomend this place if you havent already been there! more

The Sea Bass is to die for, but very small portions. The 10oz filet was good, but at $50 it is too pricey. Service was very good. They have a great drink menu. All in all a good experiance, but not wworth the dough. more

The view and ocean breeze is worth the price alone but the food also stands up to the test. Every dish that we tried was melt in your mouth delicious and I would consider myself a pretty harsh critic. Be careful ordering the specials - our surf & turf entree although delicious was $100+ (ahh!). The miso & lemongrass glazed... more

The restaurant setting is glorious, the decor is soft, relaxing and beautiful. The dinner presentation, flavor and quality...excellent. Dining in restaurants wherever we travel is always enjoyable but Havana Blue was extraordinary. My huband ordered steak which the chef prepared "Pittsburgh style and he thought it was the best he had had in a long time. We live in Washington,... more

This was our 5th trip to the island, and we have eaten at Havana Blue a total of 4 times. This last visit was a total disaster, We made reservations and let them know it was our anniversary. My dinner was good but they didn't prepare my wife's dinner as she requested it. Grilled Lobster Tail, seasoned with lemon & butter... more

Was not impressed with Havana Blue in St Thomas at all. Other places to eat on the island had better food and much less expensive. Food portions were average but VERY overpriced. $78 for a 14 ounce Lobster!!!!! more
