We stayed at the Eysian resort where Robert's American Grill is situated right on the beach. They had a steady crowd all week, with a piano bar atmosphere and live music nightly. Our only opportunity to eat there was our last night of the trip. It ended up being the best meal we had during our stay on St Thomas.... more

Robert's was one of the best dining experiences we had on St. Thomas. It was very enjoyable to sit outside and listen to the ocean as well as the piano bar. Amazing service from our waitress - never had to ask for a refill and she brought my 2 year olds meal out with our salads without me even asking... more

I was glad to see that we went to Robert's on a night that the piano bar was open. It was so nice to sit outside on the patio and listen to the guy playing and singing since the doors and windows were open. We did notice that the inside of the restaurant was rather cheesy, but we prefer to... more

We have been vacationing on St. Thomas for more than 3 years now and in that time we have eaten at Robert's at least 10-12 times and we have NEVER had a bad meal. The specials are always interesting and well prepared. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant sits right on the beach at Cowpet Bay and... more

I am one of three piano players that perform at Robert's American Grille and in 7 years of performing here and dining 4x / week I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal The cuisine is great and the portions are generous.. This place is on the beach and it is a comfortable setting for families or couples.... more

Robert's was HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, AWFUL. If you are staying at the Ritz Carlton do not fall for the 5 minute walk down the street. The decor is like a nursing home and the piano man should stick to his day job. The food was miserable. Beware of Fritz the LION, I mean the oversized, gigantic, feline running around the property.... more

We have just returned from a trip to STT. We ate at Robert's American Grille every night. The food was fabulous and the atomosphere was great. - Very casual and relaxing. We have been to Robert's before and took along some friends that have never been there. They loved the sea bass special and also the tuna special. We have... more

We went to Roberts on our first night in St. thomas, mainly due to the fact that it was within walking distance of our condo. The good things: The food was O.K., not amazing but satisfying for four hungry, tired travelers. We each had a different entree, vegetable etouffee ( just o.k.), jerk chicken (a bit rubbery), Mussels Diablo (not... more

We all have a slightly different view of the perfect dining experience on the beach, however, this has to be close. Get there before sunset and have Paige, the Bar Man, make you the "perfect drink" to sip out on the beach with your lady before dinner. Don't forget to reserve a table as well because this place fills up... more
