Description: Mim’s Seaside Bistro is a beautiful oceanfront restaurant in St. Thomas that specializes in fresh seafood dishes. With house specialties including coconut curry lobster, baked stuffed lobster and conch fritters, Mim’s is a little slice of heaven for seafood lovers. We offer everything from king crab legs and fresh fish to chicken wings and creative pasta dishes. Our two large patios are the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner by the ocean, and our location right on the beach at Bolongo Bay gives us access to the best sunset view around. To get your appetite going, choose from our lobster and crab dip, coconut shrimp or calamari appetizers. For the main event, pick from one of our countless seafood dishes like the Grilled Mahi Mahi, King Crab Legs or Breaded Sea Scallops. For those who don’t particularly enjoy fish, we have plenty of non-seafood options to choose from. Try our stuffed artichoke hearts, fried brie, chicken alfredo pasta or one of our juicy steaks. Enjoy the island breeze while sipping a beer or one of our unique cocktails, from the always-popular Caribbean Margarita to the more daring Sex on the Beach in Winter or Beach Bar Bomber. Make sure to save room for our Key Lime Pie or Butterscotch Walnut Bread Pudding.

What a fantastic location, right on the beach. Seafood to die for-the wahoo was spectacular and huge-loved the spicy creole sauce it was served with.

We went there upon recommendations from our Marriott concierge. We were not disappointed. We sat at a table overlooking the ocean. It started raining and the staff closed the open view with a plastic curtain. When it stopped they reopened. They served a complimentary rum punch which was very good. I tried having a different fish dinner every night of... More

While Mim's came highly recommended by the hotels and the taxi drivers, the meal we had did not match the hype. The lobster was overcooked and tough and the price as excessive for the quality. There is a better place to go for lobster on the island if you are in search of the perfect meal. Very disappointing for the... More

And pretty good food too. Just don't go into cardiac arrest when they quote you the prices on their signature lobster dishes. These reach triple digits pretty quickly. But don't despair as there plenty of other menu options. And enjoy watching the pelicans feast on free fish!

Really amazing night when the FULL moon rose out behind a cloud and the bartender played all Moon songs ! Lobster curry dish is really one of the best things ever and the small is really a big portion. Huge chunks of tender lobster that I shared with the other three at table with plenty left for me. Worth the... More

The atmosphere was breath taking, we came at night I'm sure day time dining is outstanding. Food was 'ok' service was terrible! Especially considering the price you say here.

Setting: beautiful view right off ocean edge, watch the waves crash against the rock, music in background Food: had a good mix of seafood, steak, even frog legs but it is pricey, each appetizer about $10-15 and main trays average $30. We tried the frog leg appetizer which comes w four little legs, very crispy yet soft with a perfect... More

My wife loved the curry lobster, best lobster she has ever had! The ambience and seating waterside is the perfect spot for a romantic evening! I recommend the conch fritters! Mims is a must see!

Mims at sunset provides a great romantic venue. The food is a little pricey and the service was not that fantastic. The curried coconut lobster was very good, but very overpriced.

The curry-stuffed Caribbean lobster is something that you're not likely going to experience anywhere else. It is absolutely worth the cost. This is a very simple, small restaurant with a breathtaking ocean view. Sunsets are definitely the time you want you want to request seating. I think it sucks that restaurant owners on this island have decided against free refills... More
