Description: Mim’s Seaside Bistro is a beautiful oceanfront restaurant in St. Thomas that specializes in fresh seafood dishes. With house specialties including coconut curry lobster, baked stuffed lobster and conch fritters, Mim’s is a little slice of heaven for seafood lovers. We offer everything from king crab legs and fresh fish to chicken wings and creative pasta dishes. Our two large patios are the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner by the ocean, and our location right on the beach at Bolongo Bay gives us access to the best sunset view around. To get your appetite going, choose from our lobster and crab dip, coconut shrimp or calamari appetizers. For the main event, pick from one of our countless seafood dishes like the Grilled Mahi Mahi, King Crab Legs or Breaded Sea Scallops. For those who don’t particularly enjoy fish, we have plenty of non-seafood options to choose from. Try our stuffed artichoke hearts, fried brie, chicken alfredo pasta or one of our juicy steaks. Enjoy the island breeze while sipping a beer or one of our unique cocktails, from the always-popular Caribbean Margarita to the more daring Sex on the Beach in Winter or Beach Bar Bomber. Make sure to save room for our Key Lime Pie or Butterscotch Walnut Bread Pudding.

the food was perfect, the view perfect. Price was just right. plenty of pleasant staff. enjoyed everything. there is open air seating and covered seating. there are about 20 feet of big rocks between you and the waves, so you will enjoy being right on the seaside. Only problem was finding the parking spots. They are there, just have to... More

The best lobster I have ever eaten. Small family oriented restaurant. Simple, excellent food, nice environment, right by the sea and friendly staff. High lights: 1. Excellent fresh food 2. Nice environment. 3. No hype, fuss or rush. 4. Next to sea. 5. Friendly staff. 6. Clean.

My family and I went to Mim's at the recommendation of our great diving instructor, Jimi (st Thomas diving club) who also happens to tend bar at Mims. My family is kind of tough to please because some of us don't like seafood. But, all in, the food was great and everyone left full and happy. The views were 10... More

We made a reservation and arrived a little early since we were not sure where exactly we were going. We went to the bar first and started with a coconut rum drink which was great. The hostess was so friendly and personable! We requested a seat by the water and we sat at a great table overlooking the waves crashing... More

We had to try Mim's after numerous locals said that is where they go for Caribbean lobster. The location is a bit off the beaten path, and located behind some apartment buildings, but there is a sign off the main road and another when you get to the apartments, so not too bad. The setting itself is very relaxing and... More

After a long day of shopping (spending money is exhausting!) we stopped at Mim's on the way home. We were an hour early for dinner service, but Joan greeted us lime an old friend, insisted that we sit and took a drink order. She then talked to chef into opening the kitchen early and cooking for us! Drinks were great... More

We couldn't decide where to eat and someone suggested Mim's. It sounded interesting so we headed out to find it. So glad we did! We walked down the steps and saw how cute the covered area was - all the great lights for decoration & then saw the tables next to the sea. Beautiful & unexpected. We honestly said that... More

Sitting in front of the water with the surf gently hitting the rocks while sipping on great wine and enjoying conch fritters was a great experience. Don't Miss the Snapper Almondine, by far our favorite meal on this trip!

This dish came highly recommended from locals. We made a special trip so that I could try it. The lobster was over cooked and the coconut curry sauce was super sweet. I didn't. The rice and veggies were totally tasteless. My friend had the chicken fettuccine and he only ate the chicken out of it, the sauce was like water... More

The views is beautiful and the lobster is good but don't expect much in terms of atmosphere. The restaurant is an outdoors/covered shack hole in the wall located at a dive condo.
