Stopped in here while shopping - and has lunch. Our server was so nice and friendly. Gladys was behind the bar serving and singing! We both had a mahi sandwhich - one was Jerk mahi and the other grilled - both so good!!! I can see why all the locals recommend this place!

We asked around for a good restaurant around the shopping area and everyone came up with Gladys's. Great Caribbean food with Gladys actually tending bar. Very clean with an inviting atmosphere. We had a curry dish and a jerk chicken dish. Both were perfect.

Oxtail, Goat Curry and Whole Ole Wife were on the menu for our visit. Great staff, service and really enjoyed the food.

The only thing I can warn you of is to have plenty of time for your meal, as this is a busy place operating on island time. That being said, service is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely remarkable. The absolute BEST jerk chicken and mahi mahi we have ever had. Excellent variety of island dishes with great American... More

We decided to venture off outside of our hotel and head to Gladys. I wish we went earlier in the day lots of shops to walk around and see but we were done lunch at 5 and everything closes on the dot at 5! Even if there is cruise ships till late. Set in an alley way the place was... More

Having been to several Caribbean islands, I've had many versions of stewed chicken, curry chicken, etc. Gladys serves up the best curry chicken I've ever tasted. It was plated with peas and rice, plantains, mac n cheese (unfortunately was cold and hard--but who cares!). I cleaned my plate. Also, be sure to order a fresh mango pina colada! We knew... More

This quiet cafe is tucked in a side street off of the shopping district. It is a breath of fresh air from overpriced bar food that is found in the city. Home cooked dishes and salads are offered by friendly servers. The lobster salad was delicious. Do not miss this one.

Four of us stopped in for a snack, but I was the only customer who ordered food. The others ordered drinks. The server was not too happy. In fact, he was so mad that when he brought my food, he plopped it down in front of me and stomped off in a huff. We couldn't believe how rude and childish... More
