We never go to St. Thomas without eating at least one breakfast at Glady's. Food and service personal and delicious. Gladys is usually there. Buy a bottle of their homemade hot sauce. Located in Charlotte Amolie..you will come back!

Sweet soul music fills the air as the courteous staff takes care of you in what was formerly a rhum wear house built in the 19th century. Reasonable food. Amazing coffee. I had stewed chicken it was quite good. Lots of extras on the plate including rice and beans, coleslaw, squash, and amazing sweet white potato. They also make 4... More

My husband & I had the most wonderful breakfast @ Gladys' Café. We loved the atmosphere & enjoyed looking @ all of the famous people that dined there. Located in a back alley way. No rest rooms,One has to go outside, up the alley way and tip the attendee. Food was average, nothing to write home about.

Gladys' Cafe was recommended by our taxi driver as a good local place to eat. Local is important as many of the businesses give kickbacks to the cruise ship companies to make it on the lists they hand out to passengers. But many smaller local business can't afford that, and they lose out. While the outside may look like you... More

Had a really nice lunch here with friends while shopping downtown Charlotte Amalie; it's down one of the "alleys" between Main Street and the waterfront. Highly recommended.

We arrived at the in between time, too late for breakfast, too early for lunch. With no cruise boats in port, we were seated immediately. The atmoshere is very cozy, brick walls and lots of art all around. My wife had a "loaded" omelette, very delicious. I wanted something "lighter" and choose Conch Chowder. Not too light, but very good.... More
