We celebrated my sister's mile-marker birthday here on the last night of our visit to St. Thomas. Since I live in "beef country" (US Mid-west), I wanted seafood and ordered the Grouper with Crab Imperial. Our waiter was very attentive; suggesting things on the menu and also about what you could see from the view. We took a taxi to... More

Service was very good, nice view of the bay, quality of food was good but not out of this world for the price they charge; that's why the rating is only four stars

This was recommended to us our first night on St. Thomas we knew it was expensive, but we wanted to try it and we really wanted to live it up. I am a sucker for spending money on a good steak all their beef is grass fed from New Zealand. The entrees do not come with sides you have to... More

It is expensive, but well worth it. Ask for a table next to the window as the view overlooking Charlotte Amalie is stunning. The gorgonzola bread is a must have...so delicious! Our family had a mixture of filets and seafood and all of it was outstanding, especially the filets. They were cooked perfectly. The staff were pleasant and helpful and... More

The staff is attentive, but the food is hit or miss. Mussels are excellent they came out with dipping bread for the fabulous broth, big hit. The oysters are terrible, 14 dollars for 5 over cooked old poorly cleaned dried up old boogers, (at least thats what I imagine boogers would taste like...lol) make a reservation for a front window... Sunday night is my favorite night to have dinner at Banana Tree as there is a wonderful piano player that creates a very warm, romantic, inviting experience. Their NY Strip is to die for. The gorgonzola bread is out of this world - enough to share with all at the table. The owners and staff have been there for a... More

I ate here three different nights during a two week stay and each time the food was perfect. Admittedly I had one of the steak offerings each time but I dined with several other people and no one had any complaints during any of the meals. With a couple drinks and dinner the tab was between 75-100 per person each... More

My boyfriend and I visited as a result of the great reviews on Trip advisor. We were served by Robert who was a brilliant waiter. We went for the Banana Tree fillet which was out of this world, one of the best steaks I've ever had. Will definitely return.

Great food, reasonably priced. Excellent view of Charlotte Amalie, nice breeze. Perfect place if you're staying at Bluebeard's Castle.

James at the bar, where I decided to sit for dinner, was friendly, and Chloe, one of the hostesses was awesome. Had the filet and I have to go back, it was that good.
