What a fantastic place! We were greeted by several friendly staff members and the owner upon arrival and escorted to our table next to the window--amazing view and a nice breeze. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food came out quickly and everything was perfect. An absolute must when visiting St. Thomas!

We had lighter fare- hamburger and quesodilla- the menu was very large with a good selection. Service was good. Across the street from the beach- has a nice casual feel but a little quieter since not directly on the beach.

The steaks were great.Expensive though and since they were pretty much booked to full on the Thanksgiving day I didnt have a sit down meal at the restaurant.

The view was lovely, but the food was a big disappointment. We ordered the lobster tail and it was so dry we couldn't eat it. To the management's credit they did prepare a new one. We were impressed. It was juicy, but had no flavor. Our companions ordered the salmon and it was fair.

View is amazing, day or night -overlooking Charlotte Amalie harbor. Upscale continental cuisine with a great wine list.

This is one of the best views on the island for dinner. There is a live pianist on Sunday nights and I would recommend Banana Tree to everyone. Stop in for happy hour specials and be sure to try the fish special or the steaks. We eat here every trip to STT and will hopefully be back soon!

Had a memorable dinner here with excellent service. You need to Make reservations. The views are excellent! Sunday nite there is a piano player from 7-9ish and he is outstanding. On the pricey side but less than Room with a view. Try the house Gorgonzola bread OMG!

I was really looking forward to eating at this hilltop restaurant which got very good reviews. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the billing. I ordered the grouper steak but was given a flat filet about 5 inches long and a half inch thick. Sorry, I grew up in South Florida and that was not a grouper! It also... More

We make it a point to always visit the banana tree each year when we visit STT. Food is exceptional. Tonight we had the fish special, steak and mussels. The Cesear salad was great. Of course we had their famous gargonzola bread. Yummy. The kids were happy with lobster mac and cheese and a kid size filet. Great food and... More

We just visited Saint Thomas again this year, we not only went to this restaurant once, but twice!!!!!! Each time it was great. The view is awesome, the food great and Chris our server is the best. Try the key lime pie, it is the best I have ever had. You must try the gorgonzola bread too.
