Why did we wait??

After a week on the island I finally made it to Polly's, and boy am I glad I did. Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had, super friendly staff and the prices were extremely reasonable. Wi-fi was a little slow, but it was free and it seems to be slow all over St. Croix. Caesar salad was quite... read more

Every single staff member we interacted with, which was four people, gave us super friendly greetings and excellent service. The Southwestern Chicken Quesadillas were heavenly, with just the right amount of kick, and the homemade Watermelon Rum Punch was a perfectly mixed cocktail, with a big dose of rum! I'll be back!

We sat here and ordered drinks, we were served drinks. Seems good. Everything else was a bit of a blur.

We hit Polly's while in Frederiksted. I had the quesadilla and the wife had nachos. Both were delicious. We sat at the outside tables and enjoyed the view of the harbor. Polly's isn't a fancy place, but the people there were terrific and were playing the 80's channel on Pandora! So I felt right at home!

We've been to Polly's several times over several vacations. A very consistent experience. This time we went to Fredericksted on a Wednesday in June. The town was very quiet and almost every restaurant was closed for lunch - not Polly's. An attractive and eclectic space (art on the walls by local artists and for sale, a courtyard with a few... Polly's has excellent breakfast options and very friendly staff. Everyone we interacted with had big, genuine smiles and seemed cheery. The fresh squeezed juices were refreshing and the art on the walls was neat. Our friends enjoyed the coffee options as well. They have a nice menu with portions that were just the right size. Everything was fresh and tasty.... More

We got there a couple of minutes before they close at 3 PM and had some freshly brewed iced teas. The menu sounds great for breakfast and lunch. Very friendly service! Be aware that they don't accept any credit cards! Would go back there in a heart beat to get a taste of the food!

While their menu is much wider, the draw for me is the custom made grilled cheese sandwich. Choose the cheeses, choose the bread, choose the extras (bacon, of course), and choose the side (Asian slaw is take-some-extra-home good). Convenient to the cruise ship pier and the dive boat dock.

Polly's is really nice and cozy with good food options and great coffee, which is why I go there. The decor inside is nice and the service is pretty quick and friendly. It's not an expensive place so you're getting good value for your money. They have seating in-doors or out side on a patio, but it's open-air with no... More

We stopped for drinks to rest and cool off after our walk out to the end of the pier in Frederiksted, and through the Fort. Polly's served a refreshing Strawberry Ice Tea; and a delicious Chicken Salad Wrap, and a cheese, bell pepper quesdilla. Noticed some people who were working on their computers, while having lunch. Nice restaurant to visit!
