Well, I walked into the upstairs at Turtles after Dark and asked to turn on the hockey game...Chantal, the bartender immediately took the remote and searched for it for us..we got some fun ribbing from some locals about wanting to watch hockey instead of basketball. We stumbled into the Turtle Deli and got the Rueben Sandwich...it was to die for! Thank god we decided to share one sandwich...it was huge!

The best reuban sandwich I ever had. Service was a little slow but well worth it. Apparently its a known turtle nesting place but we didn't see any turtles when we were there.

3rd trip in 10 months and we never miss stopping in for a sandwich. I always get the peppered turkey so I can't comment on anything else!! My husband and I easily split one so it is a great bargain. Tables can be a little hard to come by sometimes so go early or late.

Stopped by for lunch, for a deli their food was better than average. If you're in town and want to grab some inexpensvie good tasting sandwich or salad then this place is for you.

My wife and I went into Frederiksted and stopped here for lunch. It was enjoyable and offered a great view of the water and the cruise ship pier. My wife said her grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich was good and she enjoyed the home fries as a side dish. The cheeseburger and onion rings were very good. The Caribs were ice...

Our cruiseship docked in St. Croix for half a day and my husband and I grabbed a map and started out on our own walking tour. Just when we thought we were at the edge of town I spotted the sign "Turtles Deli". Even though it was only 10 am we thought we would wander around and take a look....

They have excellent sandwiches and they are absolutely huge! We ate there three times during our stay. The ultimate club was the best. All the sandwiches are big enough to share. The prices are very reasonable. It's a nice place to relax and eat on the beach.

You will not be disappointed in these sandwiches. They are huge! They average $10, chips are $1.25, canned drinks are $1. We had the ultimate club and it was plenty for the two of us. Seating is limited, but right on the beach. We ate on site twice and also got an order to go. It is a really good...
