Don't know. They were closed. 11:00 am on a Saturday. The website also said they were open. Another family was there too and we were all disappointed. This must be how the term "island time" came about. We drove from Carambolla because we were recommended to try Turtle's Deli. We won't try again.

We've been to the island three times and each time I make my wife go to Turtle's... I absolutely love the sandwiches.... Great portions and extremely fresh.

We are so glad that we chose Turtle's for lunch after the Cruzan Rum factory tour and before the beach. The location is literally steps from the water and right by the Frederiksted pier. They make their own bread daily and the sandwiches are HUGE! We noticed that many of the patrons while we were there were locals on their... More

One of the best lunch sandwiches I have ever had. This is a great spot with a nice view of the beach to boot. The staff was super friendly. Truly, nothing bad to say about this place.

My husband and I went here while visiting Fredrikstead. I had a turkey club which was enormous! My husband and I could have split it. Great lunch spot!

Just happened upon this sandwich shop and initially stopped for a cold beer. Ordered a BLT and a Caesars' salad. That was the largest sandwich! The owner/operator actually forewarned us by inquiring whether the two of us would like to share it. My husband said no, and were we surprised. It could have fed four people. Ingredients fresh and plentiful.... More

This place was referred to us by two different people on different sides of the island. One of which was a wonderful lady from Cheeseburgers in Paradise. When we got the second suggestion from the lady at the St George gardens, we went there, and couldn't be happier. The sandwiches were huge and delicious! I would definitely recommend going here,... Seven years ago when we first started visiting St Croix, we were told not to miss Turtles Deli. We now live here and go there often. Homemade bread, piled with wonderful meats and cheeses makes this place a local fav. As you wait for your sandwich to be made you can take the ten steps to a little sandy beach... More

Breads are baked fresh everyday by Mary. I think that the breads make the sandwiches as good as they are. Great beachside location gives the shop better ambiance. Great sandwich varieties...great taste!!

We got sandwiches to go and they were yummy and the portions generous! Better to eat it soon because all the freshness is a bit damp if left awhile. Good ginger beer too!
