Turtles is located just outside downtown Frederiksted in a small shopping plaza that you can easily miss. Once inside you realize that it is actually waterfront and you can either order to go or eat on the plastic tables facing the water and pier. There is an extensive menu of sandwich choices or you can build your own. Whichever you... More

The sandwich is so big my wife and I split one. Get there early afternoon or they may run out of types homemade bread. A lot of different breads I love toasted marble rye and pumpernickel. The turkey club has been the biggest and best of the ones we have eaten. Well worth the stop.

Well worth the trip because the sandwiches are humungous and a work of art. Sit under the trees sipping ice tea or a bottled brew and watch the young sailors taking sailing lessons on the beach while you try to finish that huge sandwich you need a knife and fork to tackle. Friendly owners, patrons and dogs will show up.

Simple & delicious heart warming home made sandwiches! Super friendly owners prepare everything from scratch including the bread. Laid back ambiance, no waiters... honor system for drinks and chips. Just order, wait for your name to be called, enjoy your sub and pay later. Highly recommended!!!

It is a deli facing the ocean. Very, very, very simple. Unsophisticated place with plastic chairs and no waiters. Friendly chickens looking for scraps share your eating space. Place your order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. We were there for lunch. The sandwiches were good and big.

There is something to be said for simplicity; placing your order at the counter, and sitting outside in the sunshine, under the trees, on the beach with chickens looking for scraps and the most friendliest cat, Gabrielle, greeting you with the deepest meow I have ever heard coming from a cat. Gabrielle also enjoys being patted, and is well fed... More

Great Deli Sandwiches, one sandwich is enough for two people. Went there for lunch, but I heard the bar and upstairs restaurant is great in the evening with the view of the ocean.

Really yummy huge sandwiches of all kinds. We shared a hot BLT on parsley bread at lunch. The setting is perfect with a view of the beach and chickens pecking about. Great fun.

Best deli sandwich on the island! Coffee is also great. Went back several times while visiting. Fast service, outdoor seating on the beach, price is right!
