we had 2 burgers with the wagyu beef, 1 fries, 1 side salad and 7 bottled beers-----$81 without tip! burger was very tasty as were the fries. had a nice quiet cozy bar atmosphere until a large group of loud northeasterners came in. ruined it for all other patrons. would i go back? hmnnn…..could go to galangal or savant or... It sort of sucks that my favorite food is on island. Can't just go there when I have a craving. This place has the best hamburger I have ever had. They have several and I had the one with Brie and arugula. It was definitely gourmet. Expensive and worth it. I upgraded the beef ( akin to Kobe ). Called... More

I'm all about fancy burgers and I know food on an island can be an added expense... I just did not think this was a good value. The atmosphere was a bit cramped and again, I know... an old historic building has challenges, but the restroom was pretty awful.

My hamburger was wonderful... had bacon cheese and even onion rings. I asked the waiter to cut it in half but he said he couldn't do that... but he would bring a knife to me. Once the waiter brought the hamburger I saw why... it was a really tall stack. You had to squash it to put it in your... More

We had the burger with fried Brie, arugula and a truffle aioli and it was awesome! My husband had the burger with bacon nod lobster meat. The fries are good too, but the burger fills you up. The beer selection is awesome as well...a must see in Christiansted.

My husband and I were recommended this neat bar by a local and we could not have been happier with the food and service! I had the "2nd best burger" and ate every bit! My husband had a burger that had barbecue sauce on it and he loved it. The wide variety and complexity of the items on their menu... More

This is a neat little bar. They have a huge variety of beer. We shared an appetizer of duck fat fried fries with cheese and bacon. They were delicious. The hamburger was awesome. It came will duck fat fried fries. The wife got chicken and broccoli pasta. She didn't much care for it. It was rather expensive for pub food.... More

this place is exceptional. We ordered the calamari and crab cakes for an appetizer both delicious. For dinner my boyfriend got the jameson burger with wagyu beef (he loved it) and I had the lobster mac and cheese which was modified that night to include fried duck on top with cream cheese and cranberry (very good but very rich). The... More

I ate here Friday, May 9 at 8:00 p.m. I'm giving Tavern a low rating because of the waiter. The waiter was white, had short dirty blonde hair, and didn't sound like a local. There were over a dozen people in my group, so we were giving Tavern a decent amount of business. One person in my group asked if... More

Yeah I'm a burger guy. I like burgers. Theirs is phenomenal. They recommend that you get yours medium rare MAYBE medium well at the most so you can taste the flavor. And don't fight it, just order the fries, they're made with duck fat and you'll be happy that you got them. Finally get some of their beers and I... More
