Draft Guinness -in the islands!

During our annual dive week we were sent ot the Tavern-1844 for guinness on draft. This is a repeat from 4 years ago but the draftt Guinness (and Newcastle) is an addition. Old world charm is evident with vaulted ceilings and Brass Elaphant head Bar rail holders. But the food was the best... read more

Attempted to go there for the supposedly great burger. Unfortunately there was a sign on the door that said it would be open on May 21, went back and the sign changed and said it was closed until next week and like them on Facebook. The audacity to ask you to like them when you don't even get to eat... More

Tavern 1844 was a nice bar and the food was delicious. The beer selection is huge. Also a great place to watch a baseball game.

We enjoyed the atmosphere at Tavern 1844 and the food was good, too. We had the fish and chips and our boys had pizza. They also have a small area for outdoor seating as well.

Tavern 1844 has a great selection of craft beers along with Yuengling on TAP! The Burgers are extravagant. Only downside is it's not open more hours

We stopped in for an early dinner the night of Jump Up and the staff were clearly struggling. We gave it a try, sitting at the bar. Lots of errors in orders were happening, service was slow. The soup special was very average and not too hot. My Reuben type sandwich was pretty good. Like the place, it has promise.... More

Guiness on tap, $9.00 a glass!! 40 min wait for wings and duck fries, when it was not that busy. Fries came overcooked and hard, sent back, second batch the same. Wings just ok. Save your money, go elsewhere.

Lots of beer to chose from in bottle but also Yuengling and Guiness on draft. The menus was classic pub food with good quality.

The food is excellent. The wait staff is totally on-the-go, hard working and efficient. Their burgers are just exceptional.I have been here twice now and they are consistent. I can easily go to a food fantasy "happy place" in my mind just thinking about them. Duck fat fries are killer and so are all of their apps..I tried the Wagyu... More

Profoundly bad experience and the manager could not have been more unprofessional!!! Not busy, SLOW service, cold food, super pricey ($20 for a bottle of beer??) and a nasty exchange with a manager who clearly has lost sight of customer service. This island needs positive business people to keep tourism viable- this isn't going to cut it.
