Great food, even Better Ice Cream!

everyone told us.. you have to eat at Rowdy Joe's. Well we did, and boy were we glad we did! Food was excellent - both my husband and I had the Mahi Tacos, but others around us had dishes that looked just as yummy. And of course we had to try the home made ice cream. It was everything that... read more

Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly. You don't get the great view at this place but the food makes up for it.

Staying nearby, the rental agent mentioned eating at Rowdy Joe's, so we tried it. Saw the chef washing & carrying in a huge Fish. Sure enough it was the special, so fresh, so different, so delicious! Also had a shrimp appetizer special. This food was perfect! And of course must have the homemade ice cream, delicately flavored, Yum!! Fun atmosphere,... More

Very fun little spot whose menu and food lives up to all of the fantastic reviews. Garlic pork wontons were amazing and the turkey pot pie was exactly what I hoped for. Even if you are full though, you will force yourself to try the ice cream. It was absolutely incredible, would go back just for the ice cream!

We ate here a couple times. Slow service but the food is worth it. We ate on the patio both times. The bbq ribs, Mac and cheese, sandwiches, fish tacos, homemade ice cream to name some of what we ate are all delicious. It's close to Cane Bay Beach.

We actually rented mid-island so we could be closer to Rowdy's. Consistently interesting menu with daily specials. Pork wontons are the best, although everyone goes for the fish tacos! Dessert is a high point with 3 or 4 flavors of home made yummy ice cream. Don't miss it. Price are reasonable.

While it might not have a view worthy of a five circle review, rowdy how's is always a pleaser. A long-time staple of St. Croix, this place has great food, good service, and an outstanding selection of homemade ice cream. I heart Rowdy Joe's.

This restaurant is a hidden gem that if you weren't aware of it's location you would miss a great meal. All the cuisines are home made and very tasty. The prices are moderate with most restaurants on the island. After your meal, you must save room for the ice cream which is also home made. Trust me when I say... More

The food was excellent and a fantastic value! Laid back casual atmosphere with great food and drinks. Buy far the best bang for the buck when it comes to eating out we encountered in our five days on the island. The only draw back was it was very small with a 2 or 3 person wait staff for the whole... Asian barbecue ribs, fish tacos, polenta with marinara sauce, fried pork wontons, and the best Cubano I've ever tasted. We all ordered different dishes and shared them around. Again, St. Croix cuisine showed its chops. All of these selections were surprising in their complex flavors and simple, fresh ingredients. Who knew you could get Top Chef skill at a sleepy... More
