Wonderful staff and fairly good food!

My husband and I stayed at the Palms based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! The restaurant food was good and service was very good for Island time! Our bartender, Ricoh, was excellent!!! Caribbean Night is a must even if you don't like typical tourist dinner shows.

The food here was perfectly prepared with generous portions and reasonably priced. Don't miss Monday night festivities.

We went to the Palms for trivia. It wasn't like the trivia we play in Atlanta and we were immediately disappointed. The wait staff didn't bring us a menu until we requested it, at which point we should have realized the food wouldn't be great. The burger was over cooked, the fish and chips were extremely greasy. I wouldn't go... More

We heard great things from several people, so maybe our experience was atypical, but Brunch was unimpressive. Lovely beach and setting, however, and close to Christiansted. Just down that same beach to the West, the Sands Restaurant just reopened. Also a nice setting; they seem to be trying very hard, and we had a very nice dinner there.

We made it a point to go to Caribbean Night (a Monday night event) at the Palms at Pelican Cove restaurent. The food was some of the best we had on the island and the entertainment was superb. Cost is $30pp for unlimited buffet ($25pp for hotel guests) and is worth every penny.

First of all we stayed at the Pelican Cove condos and didn't feel like driving one night, so we decided to try out The Restaurant at the Palms at Pelican Cove. Needless to say, I would have rather driven somewhere else. The restaurant itself is very nice, right on the beach, so the ambiance is nice. The food was average.... More

Please note- the only thing keeping this from being a "1" was the Moko Jumbies! Went for Carribbean Monday Night. Sent to the back of the restaurant away from the entertainment, but we were told we could " move up" later. The food was mostly gone and was cold - service was awful. We finally were able to flag down... More

Different specials every night, special entertainment on certain nights. The restaurant as well as the connecting bar is open air so you can enjoy the tropical breeze!

A delightful evening dining by the pool. Service was great and food delicious. My husband commented on the size of his lobster at which the waiter said "that's only a baby, pity you aren't here on Friday when we have the big ones". We were staying here so experienced breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay and all 3 meals... More

The Palms @ Pelican Cove is not so bad after visiting the Sand Castle. ...award winning has a bit of a different meaning than award winning stateside, but it is truly the best of the best. The food was good, Maria, our server was fab and Mark, our bar tender was great! Oh, Raisah was also very friendly. Stay away... More
