Great well-prepared local food.

We stopped in here for lunch on our guide's recommendation. You can choose from chicken or several local fishes prepared in several different ways. There are great local drinks to choose from as well. I had saltfish and johnnycakes, a local dish I've wanted to try for a while, and it was... read more

If you visit this restaurant during the breakfast hours you may have your lunch at lunch time. I visited on 2 occasions and waited for an hour plus for my food. The sad part,,, there was only one other couple in there. They are slow and the food is average, nothing to salivate over. I had the conch with seasoned... More

We were looking for authentic and had an incredible meal at Kim's one night while vacationing in Christiansted. The food was phenomenal and we even learned a thing or two. Who knew there were different kinds of sweet potatoes (and the ones they had were much better than the orange yam variety in the US). We had the conch, the... More

Stumbled upon Kim's while looking for a place to eat later in the evening; Kim's is open until 9. Allowed us to try the local drinks before ordering. Meal made when ordered so do not go if in a hurry. Food with lots of local flavoring. Very friendly waitstaff.

This place is a must stop to all travelers. She cooks your food when you order it. Don't expect a quick meal but do expect a GREAT meal with wonderful presentation. She is the sweetest woman I have met.

It doesn't look too pretty but the food was great! We were looking for local, Caribbean food and we found it. We had the curried goat, creole conch and jerk chicken. Amazing!! All meals come with a starter salad and rice and beans. Must try creole sauce!!! I would definitely recommend!!

Kim's serves good local cuisine. I had the curried goat, which is tender and tasty, but could have used a little more sauce. Aside from the widely known slow service at Kim's, the only real negative is that it is hard to tell what you are going to pay. Prices aren't on the Specials board, and the "Special" is typically... Went to eat at Kim's but unfortunately someone robbed them of their stuff in back before we came. The cook was distraught and and went home so there was no cook when we got there and the replacement was due to come in a half hour. The waitress was really apologetic but it is something that was not under her... More

Hit Kim's for lunch during our recent trip to St. Croix and were quite happy with both the food and service. I had the Creole grouper while my with had stewed conch, both were well prepared with good portions. Service was fine and the house version of a Dark & Stormy was outstanding.

The only thing that is fresh on this menu is the 'special of the day'. Most of the food is stale and the service is very bad. It takes more than 30 minutes to be served stale food and a staff, including the owner, who is very rude. AVOID at all cost.
