Good food where the locals eat

We were recommended to go here as this is where you get authentic food of St Crolx. The cute little waitress met us with open arms and a beautiful smile. One of us had conch in a delicious butter sauce, and the other had delicious fried prawns. Both were served with brown rice. It is a store... read more

After 6 days of cruise ship food we all wanted an authentic island meal. We found Kim's on tripadvisor. Lunch was awesome. My wife had the creole shrimp and I had the creole grouper. There was also complimentary salad and fried bread. The teen boys had fried grouper and baked mac and cheese. Everyone loved their meals. The only negative... More

I came here based on other TripAdvisor reviews and I was not disappointed! I had ox tails and my son had the bar b que chicken. Both were wonderful. So much so that we ate here a total of 3 times trying stewed chicken and king fish. We tried both lunch and dinner. They are open late and the staff... More

If you really want to feel like you're on a Caribbean island, go to Kim's. Hubby had Conch and Rice, I had Goat and Stewed Veggies, both served with plantains, and everything was delicious. They serve Maubi, which is a drink made from the bark of the maubi tree. I asked for a glass, and the waitress insisted on bringing... More

This was by far my favorite meal on the island. I love spicy food and selected the curry goat. they have special hot sauce that you should ask for with your meal. I can not say enough about the good food.

If you visit this restaurant during the breakfast hours you may have your lunch at lunch time. I visited on 2 occasions and waited for an hour plus for my food. The sad part,,, there was only one other couple in there. They are slow and the food is average, nothing to salivate over. I had the conch with seasoned... More

We were looking for authentic and had an incredible meal at Kim's one night while vacationing in Christiansted. The food was phenomenal and we even learned a thing or two. Who knew there were different kinds of sweet potatoes (and the ones they had were much better than the orange yam variety in the US). We had the conch, the... More

Stumbled upon Kim's while looking for a place to eat later in the evening; Kim's is open until 9. Allowed us to try the local drinks before ordering. Meal made when ordered so do not go if in a hurry. Food with lots of local flavoring. Very friendly waitstaff.
