The food is great no matter what you order. They have daily specials that almost always involve lobster. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and have enjoyed all the meals. We especially enjoyed the people that you meet there. The service is great and the regular customers make you feel at home. One of our favorite spots on... More

This is very much a local place--right on the water at Gallows Bay-- no tourists here-- we have never been there when they had live music with breakfast and the woman singing Lynn, was absolutely fantastic. She told us she sang in Vegas for 15 years -- she was really wonderful. We had lobster Benedict--delicious although the muffin could be... More

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this before now. This is the only place on the island where I get my burger and fries. I have never had anything else here but have seen other guests order food that looked really tasty with empty plates picked up. Service is island style and not the place to "grab a bite" if you've... I cannot rave enough about the Golden Rail Cafe. A humble little joint right at the marina. Their breakfasts are some of the best I've ever had anywhere. The pancakes are glorious and the sausage gravy and biscuits are home made. But the real jewel is the staff. Joyfully wishing everyone a lovely day and dancing around tables, our waitress... More

My husband and I came to St. Croix from California.. The island was great enjoyed everything about it!! But we went to a place near a marina called Golden Rail!! The food was great but the service was horrible. I noticed that they are not very friendly and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there unless you're carefree... We went... More

Have been there for breakfast , lunch and dinner.Food and service is spotty at best.Manager should be more concerned about the guests and stop the chit chat and pay attention to the staff.and what they are up to and what comes from the kitchen.Cold soup is OK but not when its to be hot?

Just east of Christianstead, at the Gallows Bay Marina is a tiny café/watering hole named the Golden Rail. I found it by accident. Incredible home cooked meals, fresh, fresh, seafood. (they cut the filets after you order the catch of the day) and homemade chili!! The girls are from Samoa and Tonga and service can be a bit slow, but... More

This place was recommended by friends who have been on island for years, and it did not disappoint! Best breakfast I've had in a long time, and right in the marina, to boot! Great service, quiet atmosphere and terrific food!

This is a true taste of St. Croix. No tourist trap here. I sat in the hut across the driveway from the main restaurant so that I could smoke a cigar. This is also where the owner and her staff hang out at break times. Boy am I glad I did! These are the nicest folks you would ever want... More
