If you're wanting to try local cuisine this is the best option in town. Great local, fresh food! The service was amazing, as well as the food. The atmosphere is very inviting and the decor says a lot about the history of the island.

Family run establishment with authentic Caribbean food...Friendly staff that is contagious throughout the restaurant...Cook and owner Sarah, even let me sample her fish when I was curious about how it was prepared...Will be one of my favorite eateries on St. Croix

The Harvey family restaurant offers authentic flavors of Saint Croix at reasonable prices. We arrived a little early for the lunch service but were welcomed in and seated anyway. The choices were not numerous but the extras added to the plate were many and tasty. I had the goat stew had some bones but I knew it would, The meat... More

As many other reviews state, when asked of locals of a good please to eat local cuisine Harvey's is often mentioned. My wife and I found out why. The food is excellent and compared to meals at the resorts very reasonable. My wife had the crab salad and said it was the best she ever had and I tried the... More

We were wanting to eat where the locals eat and We were referred to this wonderful little restaurant. It is family owned and you feel you are in their home for lunch. We stopped in after a private tour of the island with Prince who highly recommended this restaurant. We had the crab salad, fried plantains, white sweet potato, some... More

We asked a local shop owner where we can go to eat some local food in Christiansted, she recommended Harvey's. The menu was limited but the food was delicious. I had the barbeque chicken and my fiance had the fish. The portions where really big and the prices were more than fair. The place itself isn't all that fancy, and... More

I visited Harvey's looking for a taste of local flavor and was blown away by my meal at this place. I ordered the Gouper dish and my wife had the BBQ Chicken. My Grouper was lightly fried with vegtables, a small cole slaw salad, a piece of white sweet potatoe and a corn meal sort of starch that came in... More

I am so happy we went to Harvey's. It is exactly the kind of Caribbean experience I long for. Friendly waiter who was very helpful with the menu (and the drink menu too!). We had great food, conch in butter sauce (perfect, tender, tasty), mahi mahi fillet, goat stew, and souse (pig feet). Everything was excellent, although I don't think... More

This restaurant is amazing and delicious. It is family owned and operated. You must try one of the homemade fruit punches. They are amazing. Whatever you order, they will give you a sampling of all of the side dishes which was a great experience. This is authentic Caribbean home cooking and not for the average tourist looking for pizza and... More

One of the first things we do when visiting a new city or country is to ask the locals what their favorite places are. Harvey's was mentioned a few times, so today we sought them out. Boy, are we glad we did! This is a little hole-in-the-wall cafe/diner type of place that probably hasn't been updated since 1977 and the... More
