TURKS KEBAB, Doner kebab, literally "rotating kebab" in Turkish, is sliced lamb, beef or chicken, slowly roasted on a vertical rotating spit. The Middle Eastern shawarma, Mexican tacos al pastor and Greek gyros are all derived from the Turkish doner kebab which was invented in Bursa in the 19th century by a cook named Haci Iskender. Doner kebab is most popularly served in wrap and pita bread,...... As it is best... Known, with salad, but is also served in a dish with a salad and bread or French fries on the side, or used for Turkish pizzas called pide or "kebabpizza". Take-out doner kebab or shawarma restaurants are common in many parts of Europe. Doner kebab is popular in many European countries, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Like other ethnic foods brought by travellers, the kebab has become part of everyday cuisine in many countries around the globe.

Great food: simple, fast, delicious, reasonable

Amazing turkish food on the island. The prices were great. Vodka soda while I waited. The wraps were delicious. The service was fantastic. I visited twice while I was on the island.

Lovely little spot with friendly service, good prices and good food. Nice being able to get some Middle Eastern food with a Caribbean twist.

I stopped by Turks Kebab for lunch during my stay in Provo. The food and service were OK; however, the best part of this place is the price. There aren't many cheap food options on the island and this will do if you are on a budget. Or just pick up sandwiches at the supermarket one block North. While you... More

Nice affordable option with real solid food. This is a cute little place where you can eat or get take out. It's not fancy, but has a real nice peaceful setting. Definitely recommend.

This place was excellent and the food was very good. The location is not near the water but the prices were excellent! Definitely a place to go back to for the value.

This little establishment has the feel of something locals might visit. The food was very good, the price was reasonable for Provo. The service was friendly but typical island slow. My daughter had a wrap your sandwich, it would've been nice if they served absolutely anything on the plate with it as it looked bare but tasted good.

We had a wonderful dinner at turks kebab and plan to return. Doesn't look like much from the road but very pleasant once you get on the patio with many lights in the trees. Food was wonderful. Owner is friendly. Only takes cash which was an issue for our party of 4 but we were told to come by later... More

Very good food at a reasonable price. Nice outdoor patio. Bring bug spray for the evenings, which is normal for outdoor eating. Went twice in one week.
