Delicious Food...at a price.

Spending a week on Turks & Caicos, one quickly realizes that food prices are very high...both in restaurants and supermarkets. Once you get over the sticker shock and plan accordingly, you will find to be truly excellent at most venues. This is truly the case at "The Pelican Bay" located in Grace... read more

We had dinner here twice, but our last night before we left was terrible. The waiter, Derek, was insulting and his service was poor. We originally asked for filtered water, but when we tasted it, decided to ask for bottled water. Derek took the two glasses and emptied the water into a planter, and gave us back the same glasses.... You can't beat the 2 for 1 happy hour every day and the best tropical drinks we had on the island. The food is excellent as well. We especially loved the fish and chips.

We visited the bar twice and the restaurant once. The bar has a good selection of tropical cocktails. Happy hour is 5-7, daily with 2-for-1 priced cocktails (normally about $12 each). They are tasty, but not especially strong. Service at the bar is indifferent; the cocktail waitress seemed over it. Service at the pool-side restaurant was better - friendly and... More

We recently stayed at the Royal West Indies, which is connected to the Pelicans Bay restaurant. Day or night the food is excellent excellent. Tha staff, particularly Derek are super nice and very welcoming each and every time we were there (which was every day). Lots of great specials and the drinks are great as well. We look forward to... We decided to stay local and tried Pelican Bay on Wednesday night for Lobster Fest. Atmosphere is very nice and personnel were very pleasant. It's an all you can eat buffet (@ $65pp) which includes not only lobster but steak, chicken, and pasta cooked to order. Choice of salad and dessert also included. Cocktails were reasonably priced and very good.... More

Beautiful atmosphere combined with all you can eat lobster, seriously? Truly, it doesn't get any better than this! Favorite meal of all time as it is grilled fresh and to your liking...perfection is all I can say. Don't miss this one if you are lucky enough to be on this very special island :)

The wait staff are absolutely wonderful. They made us feel like queens. I was impressed by them calling us by name from the first day. The food was amazing and the drinks are FRESH and delicious.

The most romantic splurge-excellent service, tables set beautifully around the pool, lobster tails grilled in several ways, to your request, perfectly cooked veggies, sumptuous desert. Just awesome!

We (4 adults from Canada) ventured to the Pelican Bay restaurant for the all-you-can eat Wednesday special late Feb 2015. We had a great experience - we mostly tackled the unlimited lobster tails (4 different sauce flavours -- all were fantastic, my fav was the jerk sauce!) Truly no limit (I had 8!). There was also chicken and steak available.... More
