I would think normally this would be a 5 - we just happened to be there on one of the busiest days this year. There were 2 ships in port this day. The water here is amazing...just like a swimming pool. I wish we could have stayed longer. We did a snorkle excursion so by the time we got here,... More

We came to the island on the Nieuw Amsterdam cruise ship. I had already read Trip Advisor so I knew where I wanted to go. Jack, Janet and Topher were so welcoming. This is just a little bar on the beach and so much fun. My husband and I talked with Janet for a couple of hours. Good drinks, good... More

My friends and I walked down to this local spot and we were so glad we did. We rented beach chairs and ordered some great drinks. The prices were good and the water was the most beautiful and the clearest that I have ever seen. We enjoyed watching Topher the dog play while we sipped on our drinks and soaked... More

Service is not the quickest here but who cares - you're on vacation. Jerk chicken was good - better than the bland rubbery thing they had on the cruiseship. Atmosphere and sunshine was just right. Found Topher the dog too.

My family stopped here and ate some good jerk chicken (and I don't like spicy food). This is a nice area to snorkel with kids away from the busy terminal. Loved swimming with the owner's dog. :-)

We arrived on the island on a Carnival ship, which dumps you right into the cruise terminal, which I believe is owned by Carnival. The drinks are expensive (at the terminal) and the food is too with automatic gratuity added. Now here's the secret.. If you walk down the beach maybe around a quarter mile (look for the signs that... More

Most of the passengers from the cruise ships just grab a sunbed at the cruise terminal very crowded indeed, we decided to walk along the beach for about 5-10 minutes to jacks shack. No more than about two dozen people there, lovely cold beer, plenty of space, and one crazy entertaining dog Topher. We cannot comment about the food as... More

Walked down the beach from cruise ship and arrived a 8am. Rum Punch for breakfast while watching the sea and people watching and taking the smell from the BBQ with jerk chicken already cooking. The lunch was excellent as was the swimming and more rum. Could have stayed all day.

right on the beautiful beach, lounge chairs or place your towel on the sand, grab a drink, say hi to their dog, and start your vacation. A simple outside bar on the beach owned and visited by friendly folks. i'll be back

This place runs on island time, and that is fine, but there seems to be no protocol or organization to ordering and getting your food. The barmaid writes down your order on a slip of paper, which you then hand to one of the cooks behind the counter. They tell you 20 minutes for jerk chicken, then when you come... More
