Very short walk from the cruise port (2 ship lengths) down the beach is Jack's Shack. Bar is great, prices easy on the wallet and the beach is what I come to the islands to see! Chairs are free-umbrella is only $10. Wi-fi is free as well. Coolest dogs on the beach hang out here. You are out of the... More

Jack’s Shack is a great local bar in a spectacular setting with a beautiful white sand beach and turquoise water. They have DELICIOUS Jerk Chicken along with Turks Head (local beer), Rum Punch, and local rum samples (print a coupon off their website for a free shot). We got to meet Jack, swam, ate, and drank here and thoroughly enjoyed... More

I had heard nothing but great things about Jacks Shack so on our recent port of call stop on the Carnival Pride. We walked down here to see what all the hype is about. It was a nice little bar on the beach but the real reason we came was to see Topher. What a cool dog!!!!

You get off the boat and walk through the gate. Turn left and walk toward the beach. Hear loud music and loud people. Ignore them. Keep walking until you get to Jack's shack. This is the place of the commercial. Extremely laid back. Very adequate beverage selection. Feel free to leave your stuff there and go for a quick dip... More

Wanted to share my thoughts on the beautiful spot that is Jacks Shack on Grand Turk. Taking an extra 10 minute walk down the beach was so worth it! We had zero interest in going to the tourist-trap Margaritaville; all due respect Jimmy Buffet lol. The perfect bar, ridiculous view, Janet's warm personality behind the bar and the fried conch/jerk... More

Visited Grand Turk on July 24th from the Carnival Freedom. We like Margaritaville but wanted to get away from the "tourists" and had heard great things about Jack's. After a short walk down the beach we were in heaven! The view was spectacular, the food delicious ( best conch ever) and the drinks great. Our family ended up spending the... More

Grand Turk was one of the port of calls during a cruise. We did our homework and found out about Jacks Shack and I am so glad we did. You have to take a short walk down the beach but it is worth it. The drinks are good and are at a good price. It is off the beaten path... More

If you come to Grand Turk via a cruise and you are hungry, make your way down the beach away from Marguaritaville. You will be glad you did. Jack's Shack has the best Jerk Chicken and does not have a cruise ship atmosphere.

Loved the Jerk Chicken. We always try the local brew wherever we travel to. When I mentioned to Jack at the bar that it was my first time, he tried to make me a Sandy Vagina, but I insisted on the beer. LOL Would've gone back to try the other if I'd had the time. The only "dislike" would be... More
