Good Caribbean Fare

We had a few dishes on their menu. But mostly if you stick to the dishes that are more native to the Caribbean you will be better off. We really liked the Veggie Curry! And they had some wonderful fish dishes as well.

We enjoyed my birthday at Café Havana. This was my second visit and they have the best hamburgers!!!! The calamari is exquisite. I will eat here every time I visit Tobago.

Open air dining in a great setting, with comfortable and tranquil surroundings. The restaurant is an eclectic mix of modern design with a hint of the Caribbean flare, and with a super mix of Cuban-Asian-creole dishes. It would be a great place for birthday parties, special events and small weddings. Staff were all friendly, and did a very good job.

Good food, staff was friendly and they made some strong drinks. It was simple, nothing fancy, as it should be in paradise

The steak, seafood and local dishes were great. Whilst some of the staff went above and beyond others need a customer service class or two as they seemed unhappy to serve us.

It was lovely especially Collen. The bar person that seemed in charge of the staff at the bar was a bit sour faced. Denzil was handsome and really nice colleen and a few others didn't get there names were pleasant enough.

The setting and service are nice, and the staff was accommodating for our large group. The food was flavorful and well prepared, but was not special and did not stand out as Cuban. Prices are a bit high, even for the islands.

The Caesar salad was good, but I had a caprese salad which was not good (sour) and the waitress wouldn't take it off the bill because I had eaten some of it !? Expensive ($100us) for 2 drinks, 2 salads, a soup and an main dish. Would not recommend.
