Island style, but hardly Cuban

The setting and service are nice, and the staff was accommodating for our large group. The food was flavorful and well prepared, but was not special and did not stand out as Cuban. Prices are a bit high, even for the islands.

The Caesar salad was good, but I had a caprese salad which was not good (sour) and the waitress wouldn't take it off the bill because I had eaten some of it !? Expensive ($100us) for 2 drinks, 2 salads, a soup and an main dish. Would not recommend.

The problem with this restaurant is that the menu falls short of what you would expect from a true Havana themed restaurant. The décor is not Cuban inspired nor is the atmosphere. The food tastes anything else but beyond average. Unless I missed the inspiration for the naming of this restaurant I'm afraid you will too.

They were the only restaurant that I called that could get us in on Valentine's Day during Carnival. The waitress was friendly but not especially helpful. It turned out to be a prefixe menu which was okay but nothing special.

We visited as a group of six, and enjoyed the cocktails. We looked at the wine menu, made our selection and the first 3 choices were out of stock so we're forced to choose a more k expensive alternative. The meal was ok, but variable portions. When the bill was presented, we were somewhat surprised that it was in US$... More

While staying at the Half Moon Blue, we loved the free breakfast here. But the dinners are overpriced for the small portions you get. They are very attractively presented though. A better choice is across the street at D'Rum Shop & Restaurant at Half Moon Blue.

Ate here on couple of occasions as staying in hotel that's attached. Very overpriced for what's on offer. Also check your bill as we along with others were given the wrong bill which included items we hadn't ordered. Service is tiresomely slow even for Tobago and then when you've finished your meal they are very eager to rush you out... More

gets good critics for local and Cuban food.. Very sprising as far as I was concerned as food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner were rather poor. Especially at lunch. Awful dry beef roti, awful dry tuna rolls and only ketchup or barbecue sauce as a dip, boring spaghetti with seafood, flooded in tomoto salsa with very little seafood and lots... More

I can across Cafe Havana purely by chance, I had the grilled fish in a bun with the spicy tartar sauce, simply delicious. As with everything in Tobago be prepared to wait a while, but you won't be disappointed. The waitress was helpful and the setting pretty. I thought the food was extremely good value for money
