Ok here's the thing. If I lived in Tobago this is the restaurant that I would take any visiting friend for a quiet, intimate, first class meal in beautiful surroundings with lovely people. If you are looking for a sterile, AC, artificial place, go somewhere else. If you are looking for homely, comfortable, excellent service with superb food with a... More

This hard to find restaurant (no sign) is quite small with only 6 tables. The concept is Caribbean influenced tapas. The food is delicious, well prepared and nicely presented. The dining space on a balcony surrounded by plants is lovely. TIP: Make a reservation!

We visited the Salsa Kitchen twice recently, firstly in May (just my hubby and I) then again in June (party of 4). Amazing freshly prepared food by great hosts Ian & Pauline. THE place to eat in Scarborough.

I visited Salsa Kitchen Tapas Restaurant last weekend and had one of the best meals and experiences I've ever had. We got lost on the way to the restaurant and called- the owner was a very jovial, good-humored gentleman who knew exactly where we were and led us to the restaurant. It's a beautiful place, hidden off the road but... More

My husband and I visited this quaint restaurant recently for dinner. The place is very small, it's someone's house converted into a restaurant in the gallery area... You need reservations here because there were only 4 tables out that night... The lamb and seafood tapas were very tasty and so was the garlic bread which we were advised to try,... More

You can't ask for friendlier owners. The food is amazing. There is no other food on the island that compares. This is the best food on the island. AMAZING.

If you want ordinary - don't come here. If you want fine dining don't come here. If you want fresh ingredients, skilfully prepared with flavours enhanced by innovative combinations of herbs and spices, then this is the place for you. Tobago tapas style plates which focus on intensifying the taste experience, accompanied by homemade garlic flatbread and a choice of... More

A trip to Tobago is incomplete without a trip to Salsa Kitchen. For foodies on nearby Trinidad, consider this a new weekend destination. Our host Ian was warm and welcoming. Our server Robert was friendly, professional and eager to chat. And the food....it was five star. Congratulations to chef Paula. We started with the buttery garlic bread and savoury salsa... More

I was visiting tobago in feb 2014, so I decided to surprise my boyfriend for a late Valentines celebration.Read the reviews, decided to book. But very dissappointed. Will explain 1) Arrived to the restaurant: 2) Stairs are unleveled...no railing to hold on to to go up or come down with or without heels too dangerous, and rocks not a good... More

Dear Alana, thank you for your review, but I would like to respond: 1- We are a small restaurant and you meal is cooked as you order it, you arrived half an hour later than your reservation therefore we attend to the tables who had come on time. That is why you had to wait. 2- You mentioned that there... More

The title says it all, I've been to this small restaurant a couple of times before and was impressed each time. I don't know how, but this time round was the best experience ever! Iain, the owner/Chef (Paula) husband, made me his signature rum punch. Beware, it packs a punch but is delicious! Then onto some really nice wine. You... More
