Good food, great service, excellent value

Really good resturant which is small and clearly well run. Had 4 course meal of fish broth, potato salad, king fish and coconut ice cream for price of single main course at other resturants in tobago (havana cafe being the most expensive). Service was superb. Need to reserve table due to fact... read more

Been here twice for lunch. My preference when in Tobago and not rushed and in this area from now on. The local food is prepared, plated and served with international standard. Local dishes zing with flavour. Had the home made lime juice - was refreshing. Note that they are closed on Mondays for lunch though. Was extremely disappointed but the... More

If you want a taste of a true Trini home cooked meal visit the Blue Crab in Tobago. A family owned establishment. Food that leaves you licking your fingers and wishing this was a 10 course meal. OMG more to come. Try the crab soup followed by the giant shrimp in a garlic butter sauce... No! No! try the fish... More

I had dinner at the Blue Crab Restaurant after spending the Carnival season in Trinidad. The meal was not only tastefully served but it was delicious. Fresh fish, red kidney beans, fried sweet plantains, as well as a green salad. I had freshly squeezed lime juice, it was the Bomb as my grans say. I will be back on my... More

we wee rejected from Kitchen Salsa, as we didn't have a reservation. But instead we discovered a gem of a place - blue crab. Although you need a reservation they were very accommodating and took us in last minute and we has a spectacular dinner with a great breeze blowing through the porch! It was a fixed menu and was... Excellent dinner after a combined cookery course with Mr. Sardinha and very kindly accommodation in this restaurant. We would repeat it every time, when we will be back in Tobago.

Well, what can I say but what a wonderful experience. Not only was it some of the most wonderful food I have ever experienced but the owners of the restaurant Ken and Alison Sardinha were great hosts. Whilst Ken was slaving away in the kitchen making us a masterpiece Alison really looked after us, what an amazing personality she is,... More

We read about this restaurant in advance of our trip to Tobago (for our honeymoon) and heard some great things about the food. We can safely say that we were not disappointed! Some great local cuisine and one of the best meals had on our trip around the Caribbean. The real highlight was how welcome we were made to feel... More

T&T had a restaurant week in September. I used it as an excuse to visit this restaurant I had yet to try. A set meal at a reasonable price didn't disappoint at all. The crab soup was wonderful, followed by crab and fish cakes, then a coconut ice cream. The whole meal was delicious, and reasonably priced. Wines came by... More
