Great food, Beautiful view

My good friend Steve Willis took us to see Mike at Kings Bay Cafe. He told us the food was fabulous. He wasn't wrong! The owner Mike is a great guy and above all a chef with a 'passion' for cooking. I had the best tuna steak I've ever had, freshly caught that morning from local fishermen. Its a... read more

We went for my girl friend's birthday lunch and just as we got there disaster struck: she had a flat tire. When we tried to get the nuts loose to change it, they were locked on tighter than a nun's you-know-what. I went in to apologise to the chef/owner for being late for our reservation and explained why. Not phased,... More

Phone before you go. We drove over an hour to eat here because of the great reviews, only to be told by the owner, we are closed, may open again by July. Today is April 29.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We do have in our description that it is recommended that you should call before you visit us. We were closed due to situations out of our control. We had no water in the cafe at the time of your visit and we cannot operate without water, no fault of ours... More

We put this place in our saves on trip advisor before arriving in tobago as it had great reviews, we called in mid afternoon during a drive around the island, we were lucky enough to get a table on the veranda which has spectacular views across the bay. The food served is home made and cooked to order. We had... More

Having recently returned to Tobago we headed straight to the Kings Bay Café in Delaford to sample another fantastic lunch which was a fresh fillet of Tuna locally caught and landed in the bay below the café that morning. Can't get fresher than that. It was perfectly cooked by Mike the owner/chef. This time I brought two friends along who... More

Food at its freshest and simplest with wonderful clean flavours. We even saw the Wahu before it went on the grill. The fish was succulent and the slaw and potatoes were perfect. Mike, the owner and chef was very friendly and engaging. I will definitely be returning to try more from the menu. Be sure to have some coffee and a... More

Looks simple from the road, but really worth stopping off for lunch. Views to die for, and the best food. Our family had tuna steaks (adults) and burgers (kids), which sounds a bit ordinary but was definitely not. We arrived before 12 pm which may have been a bit soon for the owner, but he was friendly and accommodating, because... More

While the trip was a little long and treacherous, the place itself was quaint and the view was beautiful. Even for fish haters, the fish was amazing and succulent. A MUST TRY

We found this lovely little cafe 4 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so we were very pleased to find it just as good when we ate there again (more than once!) on our recent visit. Mike, the proprietor, remembered us from before and made us very welcome. The cafe is much better value than many other places in nearby... More

Don't miss King's Bay Cafe if you're travelling through - it's a tiny restaurant, but the views are spectacular, and the food - all straight off the grill - is spectacularly good value and tasty as all heaven. Highly recommended.
