WOW

We went to King's Bay Café already two times and both times were amazing. The food is fresh cooked and the service is very kind and friendly. They have a superb garlic sauce and grilled bread. I will recommend this place, absolutely.

We happened upon the King's Bay Cafe after visiting Argyle Waterfall. Everywhere we'd looked at for lunch was closed and then we passed this cafe and stopped to look inside. We were greeted by a wonderful young woman who was holding the fort for her mum. With great reggae vibes playing and a wonderful view of King's Bay, we were... More

We stopped there during our tour around the island. its a very nice place with a great view over the King's Bay. The owner was very friendly and the lunch was very delicious. We had fish and chicken. Both were very testy. We also had some side vegetables from the island which we had never heard of before. The coffee... More

Visited Tobago Feb 29- March 8 2015. We stopped at Kings Cafe on our tour of the island because we had read about it on tripadvisor. We are certainly glad we did. We had the best food on the island. The menu was small but the 4 of us all ordered a different dish. We brought in our rum and... More

On my second trip to Tobago, I was adamant I had to try this restaurant as I saw it was top of the list of ratings. However, I was left disappointed. Food was alright, nothing spectacular. I ordered a tuna burger and it was so tiny! The view is great though, but still... not filling!

It is August 2, 2014. I just chatted with the owner, a pleasant chap, and he told me to expect the restaurant to be open in about a month. I recommend that you call to be sure it is open before you make the drive, although the drive is a valuable experience in and of itself.

I reviewed King's Bay Cafe in April. My review was responded to by the owner. I wish to give further information in regard to my review. When our party of four approached the Cafe, a man was sitting on the front stoop talking to another man. We said we had come to eat, and he responded that they were not... More

Be advised that I just talked with the owner today, May 21, 2014, and he said the cafe is undergoing renovations and will not reopen until sometime in July at the earliest.
