Looks simple from the road, but really worth stopping off for lunch. Views to die for, and the best food. Our family had tuna steaks (adults) and burgers (kids), which sounds a bit ordinary but was definitely not. We arrived before 12 pm which may have been a bit soon for the owner, but he was friendly and accommodating, because... More

While the trip was a little long and treacherous, the place itself was quaint and the view was beautiful. Even for fish haters, the fish was amazing and succulent. A MUST TRY

We found this lovely little cafe 4 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so we were very pleased to find it just as good when we ate there again (more than once!) on our recent visit. Mike, the proprietor, remembered us from before and made us very welcome. The cafe is much better value than many other places in nearby... More

Don't miss King's Bay Cafe if you're travelling through - it's a tiny restaurant, but the views are spectacular, and the food - all straight off the grill - is spectacularly good value and tasty as all heaven. Highly recommended.

This place was recommended to us by someone in Castara (where we were staying) as a great place for a meal. We passed by Jemma's in Speyside and it felt too touristic and was expensive. We both had the tuna burgers with fries and they were wonderful. A nice change to have something different after a week of some of... More

The best thing about the King's Bay cafe is the whole experience. Great view. Excellent service. Good conversation. Simple, fresh tasty food. Super folks. Parking a little dicey because near curve and road is narrow. Suggest parking down hill a little from the cafe further away from curve, so buses and trucks have chance to move to other side on... Very casual, delicious place!!! We had the fish, lamb, chicken and a cheeseburger!! The chicken was fantastic-- that is what I had!!! Very flavorful and cooked perfectly!!! The owner listened and ensured that he would take good care of my allergy. My friends ate the homemade bread and said it was delicious!! I did not get sick-- so I am... More

We are glad we got a seat! The fish was tuna the day we went. It was a bit spicy for our tastes, but it was fresh. The view was beautiful! Closes around 6, so be aware. They do take reservations just in case you don't want to be disappointed. However, be sure to keep them as the day we... More

Stopped by after visiting Argyle Waterfall. Great friendly service. Amazing view overlooking the bay. Fresh mahi mahi fish and wahoo fish grilled to perfection. You must try it.
