Excellent italian food!

My husband and I visited for dinner and had a wonderful dinner! The service was slow, but I guess this is common throughout Tobago... Chef Gabriel is such a lovely man who really takes an interest in all his customers, with the best wine collection in the Caribbean! Our group of 5 had several appetizers (bruschetta and mahi mahi carpaccio is a MUST TRY) and our meals were all delicious! the prices were very reasonable when compared with the excellent taste and service!

Only ate here once but the meal was excellent and the service was super speedy. Olives and nibbles were served immediately and the starters followed soon after. Great as we were hungry!!

The restaurant is run by an Italian family that has now lived in Tobago for a number of years. We have eaten here at least once on every trip over the past 15 years. All the food is home-made and is always great.

We have visited this restaurant on different occasions; I have never had a bad meal there but my wife's food has been very poor each time; we won't be going back. Overpriced

Overall, I found this place disappointing – quite overrated based on what I had heard of it. The little bites (olives, bruschetta, etc.) are nice, and the pumpkin soup was decent, though not earth-shattering. However, the vegetarian lasagna was quite disappointing – way too heavy – thick noodles in a thick, cloying béchamel sauce. I tried my friend’s Spinach Cannelloni... More

Excellent food, extensive wine list, great service. Setting is an open air patio connected to a dining room. Breezy. The owner entertains with menu descriptions in Italian English. Have anything pasta, especially seafood. Lasagna and cannelloni also spectacular. As good if not better than what I've had in Italy, Sf Bay Area or the Napa " wine country". Worth the... More

After making my reservation and arriving for 8:30 I got my main course at 9:45 to be exact. I had a pumpkin soup to start, it was a purée that you will feed to a baby. I didn't enjoy it. It was not a soup consistency. To ease the long wait they brought out olives and bread etc which were... More

A lovely space, and extensive (if expensive) wine list. And some nice touches (a couple of complimentary nibbles at the start of meal). But the pizza main was truly dire - like a really poor economy supermarket version. Dessert (tiramisu) was pretty ordinary. And the bill was the biggest weve had in Tobago. (Service and tax hiked it all up... More

We had a great evening here and really enjoyed our interactions with the owner/head chef who was very welcoming and chatty. The wine is really expensive! We went for one of the cheaper bottles and it was delicious. I would advise if you don't know what you want to talk it through with the staff. We were given a complimentary... More
