First and foremost....I would like to say transparency is key when operating a business. We were a party of two, visited the restaurant at the prompting of our driver. Yes, it was during Carnival season but this should not be a significant factor as to what we encountered. We ordered 2 appetizers 2 main course a Lassi, water, and one... More

Dined at Apsara on a business dinner per the suggestion of our driver. It was a little confusing to find, as it shares space with a Thai restaurant. We didn't realize this until we were already sitting outside on the nice patio and reading a Thai menu instead of an Indian menu. However, the hostess was gracious and allowed us... More

Was in Apsara earlier this week. Certainly is below stairs and to be quite frank below my cleanliness standards too. As soon as one enters the musty smelling soiled carpets hit you right in the nose. Not an appropriate aperitif.

The authentic Indian food at Apsara is always excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The only downside is the price as they are expensive.I would be a weekly visitor if it was in my budget!

A few friends where invited to a meal here! Quite a nice setting, apart from daft little steps here and there that the staff have to keep reminding you about. We put all our dishes in the middle of the table and tried some of each. Not big portions, but enough! I enjoyed the Mild Lamb Curry, and I must... More

We went here for my 70th birthday, we wanted somewhere special and this is certainly great food and a nice decor, the aloo gobi was particularly tasty, the service friendly, if a little formal. The price was something else, the cheapest bottle of red wine was over $40 US and the bill for two over $150.00. I have eaten Indian... More

Admittedly, the food is good. The octopus, the fish with eggplant, the goat curry, and naan bread were delicious. However, the "must try, absolutely delicious" fish and shrimp soup fell very short of what Apsara boasted it would be The service is absolutely terrible. I think you'll get great service if you spend over $200 USD; we spent just over... More

There's nothing I can think of to improve on this place. They have given traditional Indian dishes a fusion of Island hot flavor that's so satisfying I ate too much! Wonderful selections. Ask for recommendations because the menu is very very big.

Apsara is located behind a sister Thai restaurant across from the Savannah. Service here can be slow, but on the other hand they've fed me in the past when the restaurant was closed. The food is also expensive, but the quality is outstanding. They will make it as mild or as spicy as you wish. Whenever I'm able to visit,... More
