The food tastes decent, however the prices are on the high side. My preference would be dining in the chagaramas location. The ambiance is ok but in this location I guess this is what you would expect. Parking is safe and food variety is good enough.

We were in Port of Spain on an unplanned stopover at the end of a two week trip in the Caribbean. Because it was unplanned, we relied on recommendations from our hotel on things to do. All of them were good except for our request for local food which led them to sending us to this place. It was definitely... More

Good food, cosy surroundings, good for a romantic couples dinner. One part of the restaurant is in a greenhouse style atrium which is very pleasant

I was deeply disappointed by this restaurant (and mildly disappointed by the hotel, where we were staying). This was our last night in Trinidad & Tobago, and we were hoping to eat someplace nice. It was the night before Easter, so maybe the waitstaff's sullen disinterest in us and our meal were due to the fact that they had to... More

This restaurant is very expensive but a great menu and wine lists. Parking at this restaurant requires some maneuver. The restaurant is associated with a local hotel. The fish selection is excellent and always fresh. Full coast dinner for 2 well be over $100US excluding alcohol but at is worth the visit.

Went for lunch there January this year for my birthday ( we were staying overnight ) It was absolutely delicious and the service very good , so good we decided to have dinner there to , that was a mistake . The setting outside was lovely but we were served by two pregnant waitresses who looked like they were going... More

Battimamzelle (not Battimanzelle) has both an indoor and outside garden restaurant. This was our second visit, and we returned because we liked the outside garden restaurant which is both pretty and romantic, although rather dark for reading menus. How disappointed we were. Both food and wine on the menu were not available, and the service, whilst friendly, was most unprofessional.... More

My favourite restaurant for dinner when on business in Port of Spain. Lovely atmosphere, especially outside on the back covered terrace. Excellent locally sourced food, good seafood, innovative menus and attentive service. The only niggle is a relatively limited wine list - although the selections available are decent quality.
