Relaxing atmosphere, delicious food

On a recent visit I was taken out to dinner at Joseph's. I love Mediterranean food and was looking forward. I was not disappointed, the lush foliage was very inviting, the sound of the water, the statue of St. Joseph all made for a very calming experience. The wait staff was very helpful and... read more

Beautiful location and a lovely welcome from staff, but food was expensive and while read fantastic on menu, it didn't live up to expectations.... we did have a very nice bottle of wine and my husbands steak was excellent. However overall the meal was far too expensive for what we got

This is a wonderful fine dining restaurant, I was immediately seated when I arrived, parking was simple, Joseph himself came over to meet with us, the food is excellent, his salmon is wonderful, and portions are great! If you like great food, Joseph's is worth the money, my only hiccup was that the environment was really warm, it was a... More

Hands-down, I think this has been the tastiest meal I have eaten for some time now. In comparison to other fine dining restaurants, the personal touch of the owner sets this restaurant apart from the others. I always wonder if I will still be hungry after fine dining but in this case I was nothing less than satisfied. My wife... More

The location is quite good. My group was about 18 persons and the place was a bit cramped. The service was not up to par with the servers annoucing loudly what was being served in a less than professional way. The food was tasty but not fabulous, Thee desert was underwhelming.

Good day Pat, I am sorry you did not enjoy your dinner with us. If we are making reference to the same meeting, you were served our mezza meal. The menu was selected by your business colleagues and was specifically requested to announce each dish. We generally follow this procedure in case of alergies or any guest requires further information... More

Port of Spain's culinary offering isn't the best, particularly in the Hyatt, so if you fancy a change give Joseph's a go. The owner greets you, the wine is from Lebanon and the service is good (as is the coffee). The grilled meats were nice. The mezzah was a bit lacklustre but tasty. Don't go expecting a Michelin star experience,... More

This was a surprise to me. Very quiet and peaceful, the service was painfully slow, but perfect if you wanted a romantic meal for two, which we did. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The accompanying wine complimented the meal well.

I saw an article in the newspaper recently about Joseph's. The writeup was so good that I decided to give them a try. After all my only experience of Arabian food in a restaurant was many years ago at a place called Ali Baba's in shoppes of Maraval. So in the restaurant and hotel industry first impressions go a long... More
