The service we experienced here on Father's Day 2014 surpassed all expectations. In Trinidad, most fine dining restaurants are not infant friendly (ie. no high chairs and changing facilities) and Tamnak Thai was no different. However, the accommodations the staff (Sarika) made to ensure that our experience was comfortable and our baby had a safe and private space, other than... More

We visited Tamnak Thai on our trip. We were able to get there from our hotel by walking. We had some yummy spring rolls and enjoyed our plates with pad thai and stuffed squid. However, it was extremely expensive and it cost about $80 for two people. There are probably cheaper places to eat at.

This restaurant is located upstairs Apsara. It is perfectly decorated to suit the food, service is excellent. Food quality is very good. This building is an old colonial building which was converted into the two restaurants. You can feel the culture in the food from your first bite. Price is all worth it.

My wife and I went there on one of her nights off while we were in trinidad for the chiefs convention. We sat outside, the road that restaurant is on is a little busy but didn't bother us. There is a really cool koi pond. The food was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone who likes tai food.... More

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times before, had greatly enjoyed its food, and thought it would be a good place to take a small group of five colleagues. What a disappointment! The service was slow and chaotic, one of us got his meal a good 20 minutes after the first one had been served, the food... More

After living in Trinidad for a year, I miss this restaurant terribly. We went at least once a month and the food was always amazing. I love the cashew chicken and the shrimp dishes were delicious. It is a little expensive for T&T, but worth it!

Visited the Tamnak Thai restaurant around the Queen's Park Savannah at the end of January for my husband's birthday. We had been to this restaurant twice several years ago and decided to return because the food was really good. We arrived about 8:45 p.m. (we didn't make reservations) and the place was practically empty for a Friday night. There was... More

The service is poor, the food is far from delicious and it came out room temperature. The entire restaurant needs to be revamped!

Today we decided we deserved a nice Friday dinner and arrived at the Tamnak Restaurant. We were received with best smile ever at the door, walked through parking since we had no idea how to and where to and then invited to join one secluded, almost magical separate room to dine. It was perfect, had a giant red rustic umbrella... More

The food here is very tasty. Kudos to the chef. Good service. It's a bit pricey though, but a good getaway from the everyday humdrum.
