Great little tea room. Wide variety of Indian teas, also a extensive menu. Food was tasty, the Shrimp briyani was excellent, also the vegetable samosas, the dosta was a bit salty, however still tasted delicious. The tea room, was a bit cramped for room, but the delicious food made up for the lack of room. The merchandise was quite exquisite,... More

I literally felt as though I was in India for a few hours! The ambiance of the place is incredible. I definitely recommend it to anyone that loves teas, such a wide organic variety available, or anyone that wishes to experience a true Indian culture. It's also quite affordable depending on what you get, I usually go to have tea... More

Have been here several times and love it. A great place to meet up with friends and have a bite. Lovely setting and it is almost as though one is transported to India. LOVE the selection of teas and obviously, because it is a tiny place the menu cannot be extensive, but what they do offer is very VERY good... More

I just had lunch at this place. I called in advance and spoke to a very nice lady (think her name was "Jen".) The place is a little difficult to find if you don't know where you are going, and parking on that street is atrocious, so call and ask for directions. Jen was nice enough to let me park... More

I'm really into authentic Indian food so after hearing about this place I knew I had to try it. When I walked up to this nondescript location I didn't know what they had in store for me but as I walked in I felt as though I was transported onto the streets of India (at least some Bollywood version that... We enjoyed a nice lunch at this wonderful little home experience of India. You definitely feel transported upon entering. The food is very well prepared and teas to match your style. I loved the ambiance which includes place settings, seating, music, candles, and everything Indian. The service is homey and welcoming to all. They are celebrating their 10th Anniversary this... Going there for tea is a treat. Being a nouvelle boutique and restaurant, its somewhat cluttered but the service and flavor makes up for it.

House of Jaipur is something of a hidden gem. It is not signed or advertised, so unless you know it exists then you would never visit which would be a real shame. I was lucky enough to be taken by friends who live on Trinidad. The entrance is like approaching someone's front door. Once you enter the building you 're... More
