My husband and I went for dinner on the 19th December for dinner. We chose Prime as we have dined here in the past and had a great experience. Last night however was very disappointing and I wish I had gone with my initial instincts and left! The hostess was great. Very welcoming and we also had a very nice... More

The ambience is good with fine dining furnishings. The service at the door was good but my waiter was missing for long periods of time.I had to signal to him from a far that I wanted the bill. The shrimp cocktail could have had a better presentation and the sauce lacked flavour. The lamb and ravioli was good though. The cheese cake was... I thought today, I have done many reviews from all over the world but never one in my home country for my local restaurants. Prime can compete with any steak house in the US. I have been to the pricey and the not so pricey in the US and I would say that Prime is right up there in service... More

My husband made reservations for our 3rd wedding anniversary for Tuesday evening at Prime. When we got to the front door the rude man at the reservations book has us standing there for a very long time while he pretended to look for our reservation. By this time patrons of the restaurant were looking at us possibly wondering what was... More

This is unfortunately my second review of Prime. From five stars, it has gone down to two. The dinner I had recently was so very disappointing. The steak and lamb were both dry and lacking in any flavour. The appetizers were tiny and mediocre. The mac and cheese which was my favourite thing was so bad. It tasted like a... More

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Trinidad for meat lovers. Prime does steak better than any other eatery and I encourage you to try their offerings. Service was excellent, waiter did not constantly hover but we never felt abandoned. A little bit pricier than most other restaurants of this caliber but that is to be expected, since its the... 2nd time in 10yrs I went here with my family and still this place disappointed. Flavorless overcooked steaks, rubber instead of lobster and exorbitant prices. There are much better bang for your buck and 1000% better quality restaurants nearby! This place needs to learn how to write their menu. Today was creamed spinach that had no mention of truffle oil... More

Having traveled the Caribbean for over 30 years, one thing I've always had a problem with is finding a place with great steaks. One of my customers invited us to dinner at Prime and I was impressed! The venue is exquisitely decorated. What you would expect from a prime steakhouse! The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The steaks... More

This is my husband and my favourite restaurant in Trinidad...Exceptional service, most delectable foods and outstanding Bellini's. Every special occasion or just a date night out, never disappointed.
