Yum yum yum

Eat here. You'll love it. No need to expand. It's just really good. The drinks made from local fruits are to die for. The only thing wrong with this place is that is isn't open more.

Through a friend and based on her recommendation I ordered the take away lunch from this restaurant. Had the fish option. Quantity wise it's great and the price is average for food in the area. The food was local cuisine and was presented well for take away but I wasn't wowed taste wise. The restaurant has a nice casual and... More

We spent a week in Port-of-Spain, eating a variety of local, regional, and international cuisine. I can honestly say that Veni Mange was the best combination of classy restaurant serving native cuisine. The servers were extremely helpful with picking just the right amount of heat. The soups and bread were amazing! The main courses were perfectly seasoned! The desserts were... More

What a fantastic restaurant this is. With the feeling of being on an upper terrace, it is a real pleasure to have ceiling fans rather than aircon. The setting, service and food were all great. Fantastic callaloo soup and I really enjoyed the stewed beef, plus the range of succulent side dishes ensured that we certainly didn't go hungry. There... More

Always take visiting reps here, just so they can feel the local spirit. Never fails. Being only half trini it is an experience for me too. The décor , the open plan old architecture. It is a different feel to the other modern restaurants in POS. And the food is very good..fresh , well prepared and delicious. Unpretentious and relaxing.... More

This awesome creole restaurant here in Trinidad has tasty food, friendly atmosphere and great hospitality serving vegetarian and local cuisine. You gotta go there and you must interact with the owner Roses - she is a truly "spicy" persona! When you go in you go to the bar and have a beverage - of the alcoholic or non alcoholic flavor!... With stunning artwork adorning the walls of the restaurant, Veni Mange's hostess made us feel welcome from the time we entered the door. The restaurant located on "the Avenue" is refreshing sight of traditional Caribbean house architecture. The servers ensured we were enjoying our meal, asking us at intervals how we're doing. The food was served in quick time and... More

The atmosphere is really cool - extremely 'Caribbean' feeling and a nice small bar to have a drink before or after. Food is a nice mix of seafood, meat prepared with a very 'homemade' feel. Mix of seafood (good selection of different fish, shrimp) as well as some meats. Don't expect overly sophisticated prep or presentation - more like you're... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Veni Mange. Our meals of snapper and shrimp were both delicious. The environment is full of Trinidadian art and the waitstaff friendly and attentive, The only problem is its limited openings: Monday-Friday lunch and Wednesday and Friday dinner

Happy you enjoyed your Veni Mangé experience. Yes, the limited opening hours are a bit of a problem, so we are looking into that aspect of the business. Who knows?....on your next trip we may just have added an additional opening evening! lol:) More

This restaurant was founded by Allyson Hennessy and her sister,Rose Hezekiah. It starts from the greeting at the door when you feel like an old family friend. Many lunches taste like homemade; stew chicken, plantains fried to bring out their sweetness, my mouth waters and food is seasonal...so freshness is guaranteed. Allyson may have left us, but Rose has maintained the... More
