Started our visit with a plantation tour lead one of the gardeners (Ezra) accompanied by Annie one of the hotel dogs - EC$10 each. During the tour we sampled coconut flesh, coconut juice, guavas, sugarapples, sugar cane, sugar cane juice, herbs, oranges, etc. We visited the bee hives and came away with a bag of apples, grapefruit, etc. About 40... Bequia has lots of great local restaurants and bars so you are spoiled for choice. We were staying at the plantation so ate there a lot as the food was excellent and lots of variety. We especially enjoyed the rotis at lunch and the wonderful goat curries and local fish. The hotel makes it's own yoghurt and granola for breakfast which... More

Unpleasant cocktails all rum based and too sweet served in disposable glasses. Buy one get one free policy, awful to have to drink it twice

On an island, that is full of joy and hospitality, it is rare to have such a totally dreadful experience. 1. can't have a basket of bread and butter, unless you order soup, "we will pay!" Sorry not possible. 2. kids had 2 tiny bowls of penne (watery) with 3chopped tinned tomatoes on the top, portion was half size of... More

This is the best place for coffee on the island. A plunge pot usually about 12 EC. It is worth a walk over the hill especially.

This is a light beautiful place, with doors opening onto the beach, you can sit inside but feel your out, tables are placed so you are not eating in close proximity with others, the food is just amazing, they buy locally from the fishermen and farmers, a must is a banna and caramel desert wow!!the staff are friendly and welcoming... Firefly's got a lovely little open air space up the hill, which allows for great sea views. It's also got a couple adorable dogs that love to hang about. We popped by, as a meal at Firefly was included in the price of our villa, and while the food was really nice, I'm glad it was free. The food is... More

Thank you for your compliments and for visiting Firefly, I am so glad you liked the dogs! Just to correct you on a couple of points, we are certainly not the most expensive restaurant on Bequia! Not the cheapest, but not tops in the price range either, and (despite rumours on the internet) we are not for sale! More

We stayed here two years ago. Fabulous place if you are into climbing many steps. We stayed elsewhere this past August but returned for a meal and a promise to Donovan. Great staff, food was very good. Service was above and beyond.

We are on Bequia on holiday we went to Firefly on its last night (22nd September) open until 18th October. There was just one other diner nevertheless this did not detract from the quality of service and food received. We had a nice cocktail each before dinner then both had delicious salad starters using mainly produce grown on the plantation... More
