We stopped here on multiple occasions, after a long walk around town and down the beach. Great little eats and spectacular view under the shade of a beautiful tree and the breeze coming in from the ocean... just the second wind you need to keep exploring more of the island! I'd be curious to try their Inn on the next... More

Lovely tea shop on Bequia. The cakes were superb & the chickens were running around our feet. All added to the atmosphere

Restaurant has decent food but can improve on the service. But that is made up by the wonderfull view you have over the Admiralty bay in Bequia while you eat. Don't eat in the garden because there is no service. You will need to go up the stairs everytime to order.

Good food and pleasant staff. Wonderful location on the waterfront on Bequia. One of the better restaurants.

Great spot to sit and watch the day unfold. Beautiful view of harbour. Good lattes and sweets! Great people watching, too!

Started well enough. Shown to table with the usual Bequia courtesy. Got menu and bread basket and 1st drink. It wasn't particularly busy, the order was taken fairly quickly, it went downhill from there. we waited an hour and ten for the food, which was 'ok' but were not approached for another drink whilst we sat there with empty glasses... We went to Gingerbread for Saturday lunch. We were initially ignored by the staff to the point where we thought they might be closed. All the Caribbean specialities were unavailable so we ended up having burgers, sandwiches and quiche - not what we came for. The burger was not as good as the average UK pub burger and the quiche... The food may not knock your socks off, but the location might. We made a few stops at the Gingerbread during our stay in Bequia. It was our favorite spot for breakfast, but there aren't many options on Bequia for breakfast. The french toast was pretty good - not amazing, by any means - but it was a hot breakfast.... More

Don't pass up the Chocolate Rum cake or the Gingerbread. This is the only place on Bequia to get good coffee.

If you only ever have Ice Cream at the GingerBread at Marannes, it is well worth the visit. The ice cream is all homemade, and is satisfying on any hot day. They offer a variety of flavours all island related. A must when in Bequia, donn on the Belmont walkway just past Frangipani and Whaleboner
