Disappointing - over priced

8 of us stopped for dinner whist sailing around The Grenadines. The menu has a number of shrimp dishes on the menu but had no shrimps available. A number of dishes on the menu were not available - very disappointing.

Loved this place! Take a boat trip out and have one of their fab cocktails. The water is so clear and you can see the fish. Just stunning.

There are several places called Basil's in St. Vincent - this review is for the Basil's in Bay street, Kingstown, located near Cobblestone Inn. I will keep it simple: Don't eat there. Fine and quiet for drinks, historical cobblestone-building, nice and cool, but just don't eat anything. As it was the season we tried the lobster, and the steak called... More

Stopped briefly on a boat for a Pina Colada on a warm Saturday morning. Stunning blue water at this cool, unpretentious restaurant. Pricy compared to other islands, but very inexpensive for Mustique.

Look its ok, beach hut type bar over the sea in Mustique. In a spectacular location but not one of the best bars in the world as it advertises. Worth a visit as therer is nothing else in Mustique to be honest

Despite the Low Season Basil's has a wonderful atmosphere, low lighting, good music, friendly staff. Excellent menu matched by good food. Tables are able to accommodate large parties, wonderful location next to the waters edge. Imagine this is very difficult to get into during the High Season.

One of the best locations in the Caribbean! Only yachties and the residents of Mustique come here... Judging by the drinks, the local rum is cheaper than the fruit juice. They are good and imaginative, even if we didn't find more expensive drinks on our trip. This is my 4th or 5th visit and I used to think that Jimmy... More

I have been to Basil's Bar and restaurant (kingstown) many times for lunch meetings. The atmosphere is very quite and welcoming for such events or just a simple quiet calm lunch for two. Being in the heart of Kingstown its quite convenient. I would highly recommend this venue for lunch meeting. The menu is always changing day to day, which... More
