All of the food was excellent and reasonable. The conch chowder was wonderful. There was also lots of room to park your car.

We attended the reopening of Riviere last night with friends. After a drinks reception we were seated in the main restaurant, which had been beautifully set out for the large number of diners. We enjoyed a lovely meal of soup, coconut chicken, pork with nuts and cranberries, finished off with bread pudding. Service was excellent and the place had a... More

This restaurant is set in a stylish traditional wooden caribbean house close to the capital Charlestown. The restaurant has a good choice of food for a light lunch or a more substantial meal if desired. It also serves breakfasts. It recently started to serve evening meals on a Wednesday evening. Prices are very reasonable and you can go for just... More

This restaurant is off the beaten path, but is attached to a gallery, in the back. We ate there for lunch and found it outstanding. The prices were unbelievably inexpensive. So low that I hope the management can continue to stay in business. We ate on a large porch which was very pleasant. Some of us had soup, some quiche,... More

Our B&B recommended Riviere as somewhere nice (rather than special) to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised. The menu is small (a good sign in my book) and everything we had was very good indeed. You don't expect to see shepards pie on a menu in the Caribbean but it was one of the best have ever eaten. Most restaurants... More

The Rivière house combines excellent food in a covered but open dining room with daytime waterview, an art gallery, gift shop and if you are lucky Steve will play the 150 year old piano. Proceeds go to the Alexandria Hospital and other charitys. Located above town with lots of parking
