A great use of fresh local ingredients which are cooked and presented well. The hog roast on a Wednesday is a unique experience and also on a Friday there is a pizza night with the pizza's made with fresh dough and cooked in there own outdoor wood burning oven. On a normal night you can enjoy such delights as grilled... More

Housed in what is said to be the oldest wooden frame structure in the hemisphere, this has a great bar, world class outdoor dining, under strings of lights looking out over the garden of Hermitage. We love Friday night pizza night since the Italian wood burning pizza oven has been added. Wednesday night is suckling pig with an island buffet.... More

We went to the pig roast for the first time and the food, service and ambiance was good, I'm not a big fan of Buffet's as I always think that a 2nd trip is necessary. The selection was diverse with some local selections available, the pork was great. Meal and drinks came to a little more than $400.00 US.

While on Nevis, we were recommended to check out the pig roast at the Hermitage. The hotel grounds were beautiful, with gorgeous views of Nevis Peak. The food was delicious, and besides the pig there were many side dishes to choose from. It reminded us of Thanksgiving dinner! We did not walk away hungry. The owner was there to give... More

Having been to most if the recommended restaurants on the island whilst staying at the four seasons, the hermatige is by far the worst. We waited till wed eve to catch the pork toast that was in fact a let down in pretty much every respect. I will say that I did not do my research in enough detail to... More

What a pretty little resort with wonderful food! The restaurant has a comfortable and interesting décor with a lot of history. The family that owns the Hermitage is very friendly and welcoming.

So glad we had the opportunity to attend the Wednesday night pig roast. Just having dinner at a plantation was an experience but to gather with others for cocktails and a pig roast was a great experience. The grounds of the Hermitage are just beautiful and the food amazing. With a mix of traditioanl English and West Indian foods, you... More

What a surprise! When making the reservation, I thought it would be fun but not nearly as charming as we discovered. The table settings were elegant. Small lights framed the arches of the open windows overlooking a garden. Get there early to enjoy the quaint bar. The dinner was presented on the dining room table, and we helped ourselves to... The pig roast Wednesday evenings is not to be missed. Besides a greeting by a complete roasted pig, the meal is accompanied by a full buffet of Caribbean and traditional dishes and complemented by an excellent selection of wines. All of this is served in a rustically elegant, old-world-plantation setting. The Hermitage is relatively easy to find--certainly compared to other... More
