Situated on the edge of the Rainforest Bananas is casual fun dining in a magical setting. We take our food very seriously but it is good home cooking prepared by hard working local ladies, not fancy or Gourmet.. However our menu is very creative and we use only fresh ingredients and where possible free range organic produce and meats. We have Magnificent Sunset views from our Firefly lounge and a superb selection of cocktails and old rums and a small selection of cuban Cigars.

A great experience!

When on Nevis, you must visit Bananas at sunset- an experience you'll remember. Excellent food, service & atmosphere...although I did get scolded for sharing my bones with the owner's dog!

Loved everything about this place .. Very eclectic and fun! Loved the colorful artwork and atmosphere. Had the Lobster Linguini and it was fabulous my husband had the lamb and enjoyed every bite. Owner Gillian stopped and talked to us about the menu which was a great touch. I found the price comparable to all of the other restaurants on... More

We had heard so much about this place and just had to come to try it for ourselves. The setting is lovely, ambiance good, food nice but VERY expensive for what you get. It could be such a great place if the value for money was improved.

Thank you for what is almost a great review..".lovely ambience and setting, nice food" but only an average rating because of our pricing? Do you think i just pick a figure out of thin air when i price the menu? I can assure you I don't...i also compare our prices to other establishments...I do know we are not cheap, i... More

We arrived around 5pm and headed up to the deck to enjoy a cocktail and the view. And what a view it was! Stunning - do not miss it. We headed downstairs afterward for a lovely dinner. We enjoyed coconut cake for dessert and a shot of the banana rum that is made on the premises. It's a bit of... More

We arrived in time to see the sunset from the roof - were greeted with a welcome drink from the bar. Beautiful garden setting part way up the mountain with a clear view to the sea. We moved downstairs for the meal which was superb. My wife said the lobster linguini was to die for. I had the pork ribs... More

We were in town and booked a reservation for dinner. Make sure you get there early for the sunset upstairs! The Mahi is fantastic and is only eclipsed by Miguel, the bartender's signature cocktail.. The Southside! The Southside is off menu so you have to ask for it! Leslie, the manager, was very accommodating. We loved the entire experience!

Thank god I was not driving to get to Bananas. It well up in highlands, but worth. I think one of the better rum punches on the island. I had Mahi Mahi with Thai red curry. They will make it as spicy as you would like. Many good menu choices in a beautiful island atmosphere. Meats ans seafood lovers will... More

Bananas, is a very pretty place. You are pretty must eating at a tree house. I have been their 3 times and each time it has not been too crowded. They are a bit on the expensive side, So if you are on a budget, go during lunch so you can at least enjoy the view, and the prices in... More
