Situated on the edge of the Rainforest Bananas is casual fun dining in a magical setting. We take our food very seriously but it is good home cooking prepared by hard working local ladies, not fancy or Gourmet.. However our menu is very creative and we use only fresh ingredients and where possible free range organic produce and meats. We have Magnificent Sunset views from our Firefly lounge and a superb selection of cocktails and old rums and a small selection of cuban Cigars.

The conch starter is a winner. Definitely wold go back just for that. Location, view and atmosphere could not be better for a relaxing dinner on the terrace.

We have eaten at just about all of the restaurants on Nevis over two years and can unconditionally recommend Bananas as the best dining experience - full stop. Many restaurants provide one or some key attributes ie: good food, good location, good staff, good ambience, but seldom, not all at one go. When you come across one that does all... More

What a nice restaurant. Very casual. Food excellent. Service great. Art by local artists. And, the boutique is really cute with lots of unique finds. Highly recommend.

A really great place hidden halfway up the mountain. If you make it there before the sun sets head up to the deck for one of the best views in Nevis. Try all the traditional dishes such as goat water, very good here. Also a top selection of old rums. Very friendly staff who will give you a good Happy... More

This was a great place to try (if you can find it) as its up in the woods and surround by lots of lovely plants and birds. Its really romantic at night and the food is really delicious. Its quite expensive but then the whole island is not cheap to eat. A nice treat...

Terrific restaurant up on the mountain in Nevis. Staff was friendly. Wonderful place to watch the sunset before having dinner.

We had spied alternate places for our last night on Nevis (this time). But 4 separate recommendations said we had to come Bananas. Oh boy are we happy we did. We have eatend at all of the top places on the island but this is best. Maybe the food can be challenged but the setting amongst the tree's, the quirky/chic... More

good food, but not always consistent. Lovely atmosphere. Drinks are good. Great coconut cake. Fish is awesome, but on a white plate, would love more
