Good value food with feet in the sand dining but dont dress up in your sunday best! Great for one's kids to run around in the sand but no gastronomic delights here, just solid fare washed down with a few beers. Easy access and worth visiting at least once! more

We were just there for lunch today, 4/29/09 - only one other table of 4 were there and the one waitress couldn't have been ruder. Having landed in St. Kitts earlier in the day for a week long business trip, this was my first restaurant experience on the island. I would have to say it was a good one, and better than what I expected. For dinner I had the Mahi Mahi in the lemon butter sauce, grilled veg (including pumpkin) and rice and peas.... more

This is a party atmosphere place. We both had the mahi-mahi and I thought it was ok...not enough of the lemon butter sauce. The service was so-so but there was only 1 waitress for a lot of people. If you want grilled lobster while on the island this is the cheapest place. more

The Shiggidy Shack is an absolute must try while visiting St. Kitts! The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the lobster and the grilled chicken. They are accompanied by rice and beans ( rice and peas as it is called in St. Kitts), tossed salad with French dressing, and fresh local vegetables. You can't beat the view of the... more

A quick opinion on the Shack....a five star restaurant it isn't, but it is a great time. The food is simple and fresh, flies can be a bit of a problem at times but its part of the atmosphere I guess. We've been to the Shack every year we go to St Kitts and we will continue to go back.... more

We spent Thanksgiving week on St. Kitts and Nevis, choosing the Thursday night activities at Shiggidy Shack for our low-key Thanksgiving dinner (we're not traditional, obviously!). "The Shack" is definitely one of my fav spots to "lime" while in St. Kitts - especially on Thurs. or Fri. night when there are live performances.
